    Does oil go bad?

Okay after bit more searching, I found at least one thread on the noted site regarding shelf life: http://theoildrop.server101.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB1&Number=863629&Searchpage=2&Main=862528&Words=shelf+life&topic=&Search=true#Post863629

    Does oil go bad?

Although I could not find an immediate answer with a quick search on "shelf life", I'm sure this site will answer all your questions: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/

If you knew then what you know now....

Flooring stuff...Whatever you decide, do it right the first time; much easier to set up/apply new vs. retrofit... My regrets: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8210

    Acrylic polymer flooring

Re: Quartz Flooring I've only seen two quartz floors; township firehouse and car dealership "drive-in" service area. Firehouse was primarily beige while the car dealership was dark gray. Both were very impressive from an appearance point of view. Not sure how they hold up to heavy items being...

    Just saying thanks in advance

Re: Profile Photos... Previous profile photo (black '82 Reynard FF1600) was my last car. Just updated profile photo with an example of the car I'm currently rebuilding (white '85 Swift DB-1). Here are both again:

What's the best snow blower for a 3-car wide driveway?

Thanks for the tip! We are going to upgrade to one of the Honda "tracked" models. Have a 7 year old Honda single stage "rubber-blade" 621. Great snowblower but there are times (4+ inches of snow) that it's simple not big enough for our current drive (100'+ 2 to 3 car drive).

Finished Bonus Room over Garage - pics

Very nice! A goal of mine for our "retirement" home (15+ years down the road....) is a garage like you have set up; 3-car below with living space above. This is by far the nicest example of such an arrangment that I have seen! Thanks for the photo's / details!

    Cool Cars/Garage Pic/New Driveway

From what I recall, just the concrete/finish work runs roughly $4.00 sq/ft. For $5000 with the excavation, I would say you got a great deal!

How has Your Epoxy held up to Floor Jacks?

Go Multi-Coat... I have a single coat (barely) 3 1/2 year old ICI epoxy. Painting contractor applied it as his last job for our new home. They did a great job with prep work, but skimped when it came down to the putting a "full" single coat on the floor. They underestimated how much epoxy it...

    Too much clutter

Given all you do with the space, I don't think it's all that bad! Looks real clean. Agree that cabinets would enhance the appearance; hit it all.

    Trash cans

Agree with keeping the cans outside if you have that option. Mine is just outside the side door on the slab on which the trailer sits. It's one of those big (75 gal?) types with wheels and an attached, hinged lid designed to be picked up / dumped by an attachment on the garbage truck. Heavy...

Finished my garage, now trying to make everything fit

Front / Rear Doors… Great idea on the front / rear doors. I had the same arrangement in my last garage (20x20 detached). Previous owner converted the garage from a 1-car to 2-car putting the old single door at the rear. He also poured slab just big enough for his 12' fishing boat. "Flow...
