    Durable Black Rattle Can Paint?

I would like to find some ~$20/can paint. Not sure if it's possible anymore. I thought maybe there's some kind of industrial enamel in a can that is "real" and not big box store fingerpaint.

    Durable Black Rattle Can Paint?

I need a rattle can black (preferably satin) paintjob on some small-ish vintage machine parts. In the past I have used SprayMax 2k Epoxy cans, which are great and isocyanate-hardened, but it's now like $40/can. I need black, so bedliner/undercarriage paints would be fine if there's something...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Not craigslist, but ebay -- Burr King 760 for $500 in Florida. Comes with an extra platen and tensioner arm. I have a few -- it's a bullet proof machine and the company offers amazing support with everything still made in the USA (one of the last!). Missing the belt cover, which is ~$30 from...

    160-650$ knife-making belt grinders

^^ I own a lot of burr king and similar belt grinders. Personally, I am very nervous at designs where things are very adjustable without positive locks that I can trust not to move when my fingers are near belts and wheels. If you get one of these things do your fingers a favor and drill a hole...

Found A Deal On Facebook Marketplace? Post It Here

WOW ^^ Arboga is arguably the best drill press ever made (some like Altzmetal but those are heavier). Someone please save that machine!!!

Garage looks too big, so my boss says. Any design ideas appreciated.

I agree with the OP's very first post: to make it look smaller, you should definitely add a 2nd story and 25' peaked roof.

Seems like a nightmare to pack up an entire garage. When is the last time you moved (your entire tools & garage) ?

I have moved. It sucked. I restore old machines, so there are (literally) TONS of machines AND parts AND tooling. Pro-tip: Label every box on all 6 sides with permanent marker. Use very descriptive labels "Burr king 562 sander + 7 belts + tooling arm, THIS SIDE UP" or whatever. I have seen a...

    What to get in Germany?

My good buddy is headed to Germany for a couple weeks. What should he grab, tool-wise, while there? I have seen Knipex/Facom much cheaper than USA in the past, but it no longer appears to be much different, even with the strong dollar-to-euro.

    The Atomic S/MC

^^This, but do note that bigger swivel casters swivel a lot further underneath (=tipsier) than little swivel casters in general. My personal rule is to spec casters so that any one caster can hold the entire weight of the machine that sits on top (instead of 1/4 the weight). Took a few...

    Buying Tools Hindsight

I would buy a nice GMTK and have a great starting point to build on. SO much easier and more cost effective than learning about and collecting each different type of essential tool, plus you get a cool case to wheel them around in.

    Best, cheap bench drill press?

No, just when you're buying new. OP, the best drill press you're going to find is a $50-$120 American drill press made by Delta or Rockwell or about 30 other manufacturers between 1940 and 1980. I rebuild machine tools and there is just no comparison between those and what you're looking at...

    The Atomic S/MC

In case it does end up too tipsy, one other thing I have done when designing & welding carts for tall heavy stuff is to use 2 fixed and 2 swivel casters (2 swivel on right, 2 fixed on left). With all 4 swivel casters, the scariest/tipsiest moment is when you pull your cart towards you and it...

    The Atomic S/MC

Following -- I have spent some hours hunting for a box exactly like this for exactly the reasons you describe. As you may have already guessed, it will be tipsier than a 'normal' box because the box will be lighter but the tools won't be. Might be worth planning for something to limit it to 1...

"Wood look" floating floor for small office? Tile? Vinyl? Other?

Looks fantastic but $7.75/sq foot breaks the budget in this case. Maybe for my garage someday though.

Catching a deal on a bunch of Dewalt from scratch?

Hmm -- looks like a lot of hard worn tools offered at $50 more than their brand new price, but I guess they do come with a free fentanyl samples...

Anyone try the Dewalt 20v Max XR Bandfile (dcm200) yet?

Catching a deal on a bunch of Dewalt from scratch?

I realized I'm going to need a 'road kit' of a bunch of Dewalt 20v tools to take with me to a different location in the next month or two. I'll need at least a drill, circular saw, orbital sander, router, and maybe a sawzall or jigsaw. I have some batteries and chargers, but assume I'll need a...

"Wood look" floating floor for small office? Tile? Vinyl? Other?

^^ That wasn't at all what I was planning, but I took a look and found a great one. Thanks for the great suggestion! Will also save me a day of installing floors.

Delta Drill Press 18’ L2140A Price guestimation

Please don't throw it away -- it's in great shape. It's an early model. Value depends, but $200 (or $150-275) is a reasonable range. Post it on OWWM.org as they will love to see it and maybe someone there will buy it.
