    I have that engine lifting device and it works. I did taper the edge of the nut to allow it to tilt a little further. I made an adapter plate to attach it to a Gen 2 LT1 intake manifold with 4 M6 bolts.

    I agree, check the oil pressure with a gauge. Then change oil to 10-30, 15-40, 20-50, whatever you decide and see what difference it makes. you are headed into summer so the higher viscosity will not be an issue with cold starts. This will gwt you through the warm weather and maybe further.

    Something I have done to make radiator and heater hoses easier to install and remove is wipe a thin film of silicone grease on the ****** and interior of the hose. I use sil-Glide from NAPA. Hose slides on and off and the clamp provides retention and sealing. Ken

    I have a 4 post Direct Lift. I have a sliding jack (cheaper than a rolling jack, same function) and a 3 compartment? air bag jack. I use the air bag on the rear axle. I have rear wheel drive vehicles. I have had all wheels off using this setup. Ken
