    The post in the center was in the engineering. We thought it was a little overboard. The blocking for the purlins is on every truss. We put the blocking between the double trusses too.

    His wife wanted something a little more like the front of the house, so I suggested a smaller section for the front to break it up a little and not look so long and big.

    My wife walked out into the shop the other day and looked around and said "I love this shop!" She is one awesome wife :) She would also like to have less yard to take care of lol

    How to get 27'6" long metal on roof. No machines available.

    We ended up using the vise grips with rubber pads on them and my brother-in-law pulled one end up with a rope connected to the vice grips and me guiding the piece up not letting it hit the ground. Thanks for all the advice!
