Summit Racing Sunpro gauges sale 70%+

Truthfully Subaru doesn't put enough gauges in cars as it is. Oil pressure, oil temp, water temp...all are missing. Plus on the turbo ones you are missing out on much more than that. My Corvette has a ton more information about the car's health than my Wrx. I feel the need to add these gauges...

    This won't last long

Please tell me what needs to be torqued down beyond 150 ft lbs. I'm actually curious. Usually when I look at a torque wrench I want to see if it will do smaller values.

    Harbor Freight all-stars

Add one to the 2 ton heavy but low profile jack. Add one to the 4 ton jackstands Minus one for the wobble extensions as they have lost me plenty of tools under a subaru intake mani. 1/4inch being the worst offender of this.

    NORSEMAN drill group buy

Yeah... It would be awesome if one set just said "Best seller for an auto mechanic" or for a wood worker, etc. I don't generally drill anything beyond automotive cast iron/sheet metal and have used cheapo sets from HD for a while. I know I want a nice set - but what angle? What metal type? Any...

    Why buy Harbor Freight?

I think power tools really need a refresh all around.

    Why buy Harbor Freight?

Harbor could really improve its perceived quality by just making a little better tools in some areas. But then the price wouldn't be so great then.

Sears Could Be Gone If Slump Lasts Through Christmas

Ive spent a quite a bit at sears in appliances lately I hope they don't go under. Also with tools I picked up the swivel metric sockets. Usa made but not in stores. Odd.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Id say zipties are a FAIL myself. They tend to break easily.. Brittle. Clearly could have been my batch or they may have switched vendors but I just buy them elsewhere now. I don't mind spending a bit for better quality there.

Metric sockets ... ? Snap on or GearWrench?

Working on a Japanese car? Buy Japanese tools :) maybe try koken.

What do you think about these Craftsman ratchets?

I love the low profile ones. My 3/8ths gets plenty of use. I really like having the quick release. In my experience it is also the "this is not going to come off over the engine bay making me hunt down yet another socket/extension which fell under the subaru intake" insurance. Two ways to get...

Better than craftsman, not as much as snap on?

Or just buy snap on from ebay/CL. Warranty is over rated. Just get 3 of everything :)

    And the price keeps dropping

Perhaps he is selling off some of the collection and that's why it went cheaper. Offer the guy 12k and come to a final price of 15 or 16?
