I just noticed that the Sears Black Friday advert is online - usual places (www.bfads.net etc.). Had a quick look but didn't see anything that hasn't been on sale for similar prices recently. 64 pages long, so maybe I missed something good? Great selection of Mach tools on sale...

Sad. Sears isn't America's tool headquarters anymore. I have pretty much avoided Sears for Black Friday the last couple years, because all the Black Friday stuff is made in China with prices not even as good as you can get throughout the year.

Looks like they are going to have $99 Gladiator cabinets again, if anyone still needs them.

Is that the heavier duty/welded Gladiator 30" wall cabinet on page 9? I missed the last sale and I have a new garage in the works that they would look really nice in.

Does that tap set usually get that low? Debating on picking one up for home but I can't stand dealing with all the people on Black Friday.

I'd bet on china for that one. I have only really used bit sockets for a table once. If home depot has a husky set on black Friday for cheaper I think I might get that one.

COO? I know better than to hope for USA but realistically hoping for Taiwan. I could care less about the ratchet but this has some sizes that could fill in my set.

Has been China for some time now. The older USA stock is long gone at most stores by now.

If you want USA, the set linked below is basically the same set less the ratchet and extension. I bought this one while it was on sale and am happy with it.

Yeah, this ad is pretty weak sauce, I like that mach t handle but I do not really got a use for it. Plus I have been just been on a roll with yardsales, this weekend I got a kennedy box, snap on t handle breaker bar from the 30's, 1/4 socket spinner, old klein wire strippers and a bunch of random plumbing tools that I probably won't use. Bunch of stuff I needed for $13.

Tools start on page 8.
The 17 piece screwdriver set for $14.99 looks decent.

It's been that price every BF for the past 5 years and several other days in between - normal sale price is around $19 IRRC. Same with the little red DMM for $10. Probably cheaper for me to replace one of mine then find fuses for it.

and the ratcheting wrenches - we can only hope they are decent (gearwrench) and not lobster claw a-ad code stuff... minding the fact they are not reversibles.

If you want a warranty buy elsewhere - fully expect sears in Chapt 7 by spring.

x2, 12 pc metric impact socket set you might be able to find a old usa set in store. not sure if they are chrome moly?

I think so, could be wrong. We've beat on them for a few years of diy work and no problems
