    Tool box upgrade question

Greetings I'm having a dilemma need some opinions. I currently have a KRA4813 and 4810 combination and it's just starting to get over crowded. My dealer has offered me a KRA2411 classic 78 and 2408 top for trade in. Is this the rightish box to go with? Anyone have a classic setup?

why no more round shank wrenches?

It's Cheaper to build a strong H-beam than an I-beam. However a top notch I-beam will weigh less than a H-beam. Less reciprocating mass faster engine acceleration.

Snap-on PWCS7 crimper and wire stripper owners/users, what do you think?

I have the snap ons, very efficient and comfortable. Surprisingly cut and strip extremely well and crimp is very good. I use it on automotive wiring I've done a few big fuel systems for turbo cars with 80amp wiring not an issue.

    Have you experienced "tool discrimination"?

I can see both sides of the argument. A 13mm wrench is going to undo a 13 mm sump plug snap on, craftsman it doesn't matter. Quality isn't all that bad today. However in our shop we build a fair few engines and I'm not going to torque down an engine with a beater Chinese torque wrench or measure...

    Have you experienced "tool discrimination"?

It's alot of BS really. I work in a high end Performance workshop in Sydney aus. I started there with a bunch of import stuff not one snap on tool. A Japanese air impact and just about Taiwanese everything else. I lasted 6 months before I bought snap on anything. I'm very proud of having a box...
