Recommendations for A/C recovery machine for servicing and recharging car AC?

http://www.tooltopia.com/mastercool-69110.aspx I needed something a little more portable and picked this one up. It works great for heavy equipment. Sit it on the deck and hook up your lines, evacuates the system and it filters the oil out in the process. Just use a set of manifold gauges...

    Snap-on comfort grips discontinued?

Hmm, It seems in the last few months everything is being available in green now. I know I've bought a set of radiator picks, screwdrivers, trim tools, files, ratchet set, pliers set w/ the green handled wire stripper/crimper, and a couple hammers and pry bars all in green. Wouldn't make a...

    Snap-on comfort grips discontinued?

I just had 3 ordered for me last week. Came in today. I made a deal that I would buy a 1/4" , 3/8" & 1/2" flex head ratchet set if they came in green. It was a joke he took it seriously... I love the new quick release 80 tooth stuff.

Best wrench racks for tool box

I use the wrenchracks as well... have no problems getting wrenches out. Sometimes you have to roll up the wrench before you pick up to get it out a bit easier till they get broken in.

Anyone had a rollaway tip over?

I have one of the Stainless Steel CSPS 40" boxes from sam clubs. It was my first box box back in 08' when I had just started turning wrenches for a living. It was end of shift and I was cleaning and putting away of all my tools for the day. No one else was in the shop and the service manger was...

    precision pliers

Works for me, I would rather go with a good quality made tool from the usa any day of the week. I have quite a few snap on pliers so these will fit right in. Now to decide which set to get, seems there's only two suppliers for these. Thanks

    precision pliers

Hmm. pro America. I'll have to look them up. as far as uses - circuit boards, terminal strips, wiring harnesses, data network connections, Onboard control panels and switches, and more. These rigs have gotten 10x as Complex as a car or truck. The average crane now has a minimum of 3 separate...

    precision pliers

It seems I've been doing alot more technical electrical repairs at work lately and my full size pliers just aren't cutting it. The newer cranes are getting more complicated than the space shuttle it seems. I've done some research and it seems the brands to look for are xcelite, xuron...

Andersen SB50 connectors, thinking of making it my MAIN 12v connector

We use the ones on the left at work on our service trucks and equipment (rated at 1000 cca). I have a set of cables made up with a connector on 1 end and a set of heavy duty terminal clamps on the other. The other cable is with two male connector ends for jumping off each other. Pipe Kinker is what to they are more commonly referred to. They are hard to accurately bend material and almost always with leave impressions in the tubing from the roller guides. I stepped up to a jd2 model 3 and then just recently moved to a baileigh rdb- 050, sadly I now want a better...

    Shop Press conversion

Ive seen power steering pumps used for hydraulics on a log splitter. It seems that would work well enough for your application. A simple v belt pulley on a 1 hp 120v motor and a 3 way control valve and reservoir along with a double acting cylinder would work great or even tie two cylinders...
