So what would anyone use for just normal dirt and dust? I've tried a few things but, they don't seem to work. Seems it dries dusty/dirty. I guess I need a heavier duty mop maybe?

I made it easy and went up 4 foot high from the bottom of the drywall which is probably about a half foot off the actual floor which has concrete below it. It will be lower than two outlets and higher than the rest. Two are higher as they are over the work bench. I liked the work bench idea...

Hmm lots of ideas. My garage has a bulkhead so a third of the ceiling is only 7 or so foot high and the rest is 9 foot or so. I may so same height as workbench or 4 foot high. At least I'll start with those options.....

I'm painting my garage two colors and will have them joined at a stripe. Unsure what height the stripe should be. Is there a normal height this should be done at? The painters will be starting it later today so, let me know ASAP if possible. As always thank you for your help!

Pretty sure it is a Lift Master just can't recall what model. If there is a channel they did not use it that I remember....but, I can check tonight.

Good point....these are drywall only so no paint. Dusty so, I'll wipe them down and lay it or do a primer then attach them. Thanks!

Interesting you say that and good to hear. The reviews online all say the tape does not stick for anything...LOL! They all suggested tacking it up with something in addition to the tape which I did not want to really do. I'll test fit it before pulling the tape off for sure now. Maybe also...

This looks like what will do the trick and allow me to go around corners left/right and drops in the ceiling up/down. It can be painted and opened if access is needed to the wires. Thanks BD1...

Thanks BD1!...that was also an option. I was trying to avoid removing staples and just cover it as is but, I may have no choice but, to remove staples and cover it with something like you show....little more work and noticeable however if I ever need to get to that wiring....I can this way...

Possibly...although I did not want the contractor to have to do more work. Alot of staples to have to pull out and then try to fish through. That is an idea though. I also wondered if "notching" the drywall allowing the wire to lay in the drywall to allow it to be covered by tape and mud just...
