Where to buy epoxy in Canada

There are tons of places in Canada to buy epoxy. Niagara protective Coatings - NPC will happily sell retail. They wont offer much in the way of support. IF you just want chemicals, its easy to get. IF you're looking for some hand holding, support one of the vendors on here. They're helpful...

Help! What's happening to my garage floor?

Remove the top layer of the concrete which is thin and brittle. Grinding would work well. You can take a hammer and tap along the floor, and listen to the sound. This might tell you where some weaker areas are, that are about to fail.

Help - epoxy floor in progress

IF you're doing a full flake floor, you can get away with any top coat, as you'll be bonding the top coat to the flake. If you're not doing a full flake floor, you probably want to stick with the Rustoleum epoxy. product. IF they discontinued the Epoxy Shied top coat, I'm sure they're...

    Self Leveling Before Coating

I tell my customers leveling low spots can be a tricky thing to do. I hope I can explain it well enough. Say you have a 2 car garage and there is a low spot on the left side of the left bay ( if you drive in, then the driver will step out into a low spot. If the car is wet, you're stepping...

    Sealing closet floor

**** man. That an awesome deal. While you're in the giving mood. I've got about 1000 Square feet of new warehouse. I need to coat with something, and I dont want to use my product on it as its too expensive a product just to store junk....

    Sealing closet floor

Why not tile what you can, then build a cover to conceal the pipes. I see it all the time with hydronic floors where the people want to cover the manifolds. Then at least you get nice clean looks where its visible, and a finished cover to conceal the ugly. If its a tiny floor without traffic...

    new floor on existing floor

I'm not sure if I totally understand your description. But if I am correctly. You can cut away your floor at the walls, then use rebar to tie in your new floor into the existing floor which is supporting the walls. It shouldn't separate much if it does. Call around to basement lowering...

    Sealing closet floor

All the stuff from a big box store will be fine, as it no traffic happens there. Why not just tile it though, like the rest of the garage. 15 square feet wont be a big deal to do.

    Bubbles on New Epoxy Floor

You can sand the few areas flat, then take a little bit of top coat, and drop a teeny tiny bit into the crater. The crater might not have any top coat in the bottom, so the floor could get damaged, the top coat might start to fail in those areas. Its an easy fix. IT should be...

    new floor on existing floor

You can absolutely pour a new slab over an old one. They make bonding agents for that purpose. Id say though, if you're going to spend the money for a heated floor - Ideally hydronic. You're better off ripping up the old one. Then you can insulate properly, pour, and finish properly. You'll...

    Concrete failure under epoxy coating

Call them back. Repairs are possible. They'll need to grind the area to solid concrete and re-coat easily enough. They could just touch up that area. When I do my floors, I cut a key joint where the seal sits. I then treat the floor as two separate areas ( inside the garage, outside the...

Any interest in a used Diamabrush

I've been thinking of picking up a used one in fact.... I do condos in Toronto from time to time, and I usually rent one as my bigger machines are impossible to bring up. They also run on 220v power, so bringing and running a generator is next to impossible. Its also a handy machine to use to...
