    Outdoor workbench

Yep, I need to move it every so often and didn't want to scratch up the finish on the cement since it's outside and exposed to the elements.

    Outdoor workbench

I ripped about 1/4" off the top edges, glued them up with biscuits and threaded rod. It's pretty heavy.

Anyone have a Bosch Ps Series?

I recently bought a bare-tool Bosch mini circular saws from Toolstop in the UK. It arrived in under a week. Their prices were pretty good, but be prepared for sticker shock when calculating shipping.

Anyone have a Bosch Ps Series?

I picked up a reconditioned PS-20 a while back and really like it. It's a lot lighter and smaller than the 18 volt ones. I use it at work mainly for putting brackets on networking equipment and then racking them. For this type of light-weight assembly work, the battery lasts a long time.

    Help plumbing air compressor unloaders....

Yes, you should leave the plugs in if you are using it with an electric motor and pressure switch. If you want to see what's under those plugs, I made a thread about disassembling the valves when I was getting my used pump running... http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=207510.

    Help plumbing air compressor unloaders....

I have a very similar pump, a Curtis ES-20, which has the same unloader design. I temporarily was running it with a gas engine, and used a pilot valve to send air to the unloaders (and a throttle control) when it reached max pressure. You could use a similar setup with an electric motor if you...

    Removing stain from stainless steel

If you go this route, be careful and test it in an inconspicuous spot first. Fumes from The Works can stain some types of stainless steel, as I've personally found out.

How much welder can my welder weld without a dedicated circuit?

Before I had a subpanel put in, I was running a Hobart Handler 135 off the single circuit in my detached garage. I usually did my welding during the day near the open garage door to avoid having the lights on.
