I have seen on GJ that sellers are directing their buyers to pay for their purchases using the Paypal "gift" feature, presumably to avoid seller's fees. Simply stated, this constitutes fraud and/or theft. Paypal is a business, designed to make money. Cheating them out of their rightful fees...

What sizes are the Easco wrenches?

I'm not really all that invested in the Easco brand, but the ones I have were in a bunch of miscellaneous wrenches I got from my Dad a long time ago. Actually, the Easco wrenches are rather nicely made, finished off well, chromed, forged alloy, made in U.S.A., also. Their stamped identifying...

I'm looking for the elusive repair kit for a 1/2" stainless Craftsman ratchet. The Craftsman repair kit's part number is 44787, and the ratchet's stock number is 43763. Sears/Craftsman no longer stock this item, so one of my favorite old ratchets is out of commission until I can find the kit.

Well, FWIW, I'm pleased with the Costco set I referred to above. The workbench is very heavy and solid. The cabinets are not as heavy or solid as my previously-purchased Premiere Series Gladiator GW stuff (at Direct Buy...saved enough on this one purchase to pay for the membership for a few...

So, what did you end up doing with the stainless craftsman ratchets? I bought the 1/4" and 3/8" with their matching plastic-clad sockets in, I think, around 1980. Still have the 1/4", but some "friend" never returned the 3/8" ratchet. If you still have them hanging around, I'm interested.

I found it in the gj vise thread...post 1513...please take a look and let me know what you think. Also, mine is in great shape...only needs a new paint job. Everything is there and after a squirt of light on the bolt threads and slide, one finger moves it.
