Yeah I thought. I have the 3/8" model and it is very powerfull for it's size.

If I wasn't going through this **** on ebay, with the new/used one I bought I'd definitely pick one up...........$285 for a name brand 1/2 cordless impact..........Hard to beat!!!!!!!

I had a "name brand" cordless impact. There are vast differences in how they perform. With SO far and away above the pack IMHO. I would never buy another cordless unless it was a Snappy with Li batts.

I found a coupon in the Hotrod Magazine for that box at $349 even though one of my others has it for $359. I been thinking about that one myself but it needs to be black. Just get a Hotrod mag and clip the coupon from it. Even if you buy the magazine, you'll save another $5.

Les,

I gotcha, I have the S/O cordless screwdriver, looking for the 3/8 cordless impact with the same battery.

Have Matco 3/8 and 1/4 cordless impacts, and a Mac cordless screwdriver.

Step son is interested in becoming a mechanic, can never have too many power tools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which issue is that in? I didn't see it in the Sep issue on the newstand,

IMO, the bigger deal is the 56" box for $699 - same as August ITC coupon. That's $100 less than the usual $799 sale price.

I got to see that box for the first time in person a week ago. That's a well built quality box, i was happy to find that it has deeper drawers than the other us general boxes. Don't need a box right now, but when I get a new one that's going to be it.

The only thing I didn't like was the cheesy chrome trim. I'm going to take that off when I pick up that box.

It is in the October issue. Went and got it today. It is in there for $350. Also, one of the Diesel mags has the other boxes, and carts. Can't remember if it was Diesel Power, or Diesel World.

I was more interested in the $9.99 1/2 torque wrench...

I just got the October edition. Somebody buy all the boxes up, it's killing me not to go get one. Even if it's red, I might get mad and get it and the top box and donate mine current one to a buddy.

I'll help deplete the stock if you post up the coupon :)

Did they e mail this coupon?
I might not mind one at work, can you roll this around pretty easy?
Looks about like the Craftsman this guy had a one place I worked at. He used to roll it around.
Only thing is no space on the bottom for spray cans and the like.
Or are the bottom drawers deep enough for spray cans.
That coupon looks to be good for a while.
So they have been giving you a hard time about printed coupons?
Think I read that on another post.

I posted earlier this morning as well.

Just picked this HF tool cabinet up today using the above printed coupon. Printed out full size; no questions asked at store.

For the price, this tool cabinet is very good for homeower use; beats anything that Sears has to offer.

Thanks again! Went down to HF and bought two. Don't know that I can add anything to what's been descibed in other threads and posts. They seem like a heck of a deal for $350. I can't imagine them not lasting nearly forever in my garage. They threw in a free Inside Track Club membership to boot.

GearWrench Quadbox 2pc Metric set at Ace Hardware Superstore for $5.42. I have a set already and it is very nice, especially for those junkyard runs when you dont want to take a ton of wrenches with you. May be a website error, but I just put an order in for two more. http://www.acehardwaresuperstore.com/1-2-dr-sockets-accs/11936.html?keyword=ace+metric+gearwrench

Broken link for my. But you can search these two SKU's for metric and SAE sets
2167534
2167526

I have two sitting in my cart. However the $12 shipping makes it only a lukewarm deal for me, not a Hot Deal. Can't find a free shipping code. Also, no ship-to-store option available since this is actually a Florida based ACE with an online store.

Good tip though... I tried to make it work!

I just pulled the trigger and bought a set of them 1 SAE and 1 Metric hope there as nice as they sound. Thanks EDixon never knew they had these the freight was a little outrageous but still cheap even with the freight for gear wrench.

Without free shipping find a few more items still might make it a deal. Except for never using the set I have I would say they are very handy.

The set I originally got was at Lowe's when they were clearing out gearwrench, and it has the bit adapter for the 10MM, so it acts as a ratcheting screwdriver. Now, with this set, all I have to do is take an additional 14MM, and I can pull pretty much anything off of any older Nissans (I own a 240sx) And danglerb, is that an Infiniti 4.5L i see in the avatar?

OK, I just read some of the reviews that filtered did, and I do not recommend ordering from them yet. Sorry for posting the link to the wrenches, but I'll be the test mule for this one, and will edit my original post if necessary

Nope. Porsche 928, 84 Euro, 83 US, 84 again, and 85 Euro, my reason for tools.

anyone know the coupon code for this?
Went and looked at both of them, seems like this is the better deal for what I am looking for.
