I just hit up my local Lowes and they had 3 in stock so for $183.60 each, I bought 2.

:bounce:

I'm going to hook them together to help run my new canister sandblaster I stole from Harbor Freight a couple months ago.

While I was loading them on the trailer, a guy pulled up in a pickup behind me and they came out from the store with another of these on a cart and loaded it in his truck. I asked him what he paid - full price - and showed him my receipt. Needless to say, he went back inside and came out a few minutes later with an adjusted receipt.

Where can I find this coupon, etc... for the air compressor? I need one with more PSI

For the Lowes Kobalt compressor, what came in everyone's boxes? Mine had nothing but the compressor. No manual, no intake, nothing else. Is this correct?

Anyone have a manual for this piece?

Compressor came with the manual(and I think warranty card), 2 rubber feet to go on the 'non-wheel' feet and two plastic round intake filters.

Mind sharing how you got them codes to stack? I can't seem to get them to work, it says they don't apply.

I went to the Craftsman website and logged in, which I suppose left a supercookie in my browser, then went to sears.com and filled my cart. Added the 5off50 code and that was that, all the other deals just filled in.

Ended up they were OOS the 12-piece deep SAE set, so I went out on the floor and returned the 12-piece deep metric set (which looked like it had been used...) -- they took the $5 back on that return... Gentleman at the counter who seemed to be a manager offered to order both sets for me with all the sale prices and free shipping to my home. So that was $83.18 to my door (including a large chunk of NYS sales tax) for 24 deep impacts in 1/2" drive.

Where were they?

I bought the last BNIB one that the West Philly store had BTW. They still have the floor model, and the first one I opened in the parking lot that had broken fins on the compressor.

Stopped at Sears today to use the in store kiosk to get free shipping.

BLEH.

Free shipping via the kiosk, but no 15% midnight madness sale, online only, and apparently the kiosk isn't considered online.

Online, no free shipping, no in store pickup despite two sitting on the shelf.

I think I'm done wasting my time on a Sears sale.

Sears has impact sockets, 9 or 12-piece sets, buy one get one free. Craftsman Club/Sears Rewards card required. Also extra 15% off that runs through today I believe. Then you can use code SEARS5OFF50 for another $5 off. I got 12 SAE and 12 Metric impact sockets (short) for $50 total including tax. This was with free store pickup. Stock in local stores was low so good luck on this one.

Thanks for the heads up. I already have the 1/2" deep sockets, so I ordered everything else. 6 sets of impact sockets for $68 is too good to pass up.

Singles and sets of Craftsman Pro screwdrivers were in the clearance rack marked down 25% when I visited the store in Orange Calif today.

I was in a hurry and buzzed out, but now I kind of wish I looked around to see if I could find a pattern/reason behind the clearance, find out what is changing.

I eyed those same screwdrivers and thought they looked really cheap. Like harbor freight quality. Nothing like I would expect from craftsman's pro line. They were USA made though.

I've been waiting for a deal on sears shallow impacts... :D I still can't figure out how you guys knew about it. I looked through the online club thing and still don't see them. Either way... ordered and ready to pick them up

I learned about it here (thanks OP!) then found it in the lower left hand corner of one of the pages of the September flyer, I looked at it in their online version, had a big graphic and BOGO.

The manager who helped me offered that he thought they might be depleting stock in the old packaging, didn't seem to think it was going offshore. I guess time will tell.

But some really good deals!

You must have been doing something wrong.

The Kiosk has always been free shipping; I just ordered a set of oil filter sockets last night- free shipping. On top of that, I have received the 15% midnight madness deal (assuming they were running the sale at that time), I have been able to get the Shop Your Way Rewards points, AND use the $5 off coupon code on top of that.

Thanks to the OP of the impact socket deal. I just ordered a set (and one free) of 3/8" shallows to use with my new clearance HF Earthquake impact.

Two sets for $28 incl. tax

For people in the midwest, Menards is having their "made in the USA" sale and this one is the best I've seen in a while.

Just picked up 9.5" Channellock linesman pliers for $15.97. Eklind hex t-handle sets for $9.97 each. Vaughan rip hammer for $19.98.

They also have this Channellock 26 piece screwdriver set for $19.99 +$5 rebate = $14.99. I wanted it just for the bottle opener but I just couldn't get over the "made in China" on the back :(

The Pro drivers are good quality and will serve anyone well. That being said, I had a complete set of them before my boat sunk. When replacing them I went with PB Swiss & Wera because of the ergonomic handle and more importantly, the weight.

This has to be a mistake but I ordered 6 just in case. It didn't charge me anything for shipping either. :headscrat
Yeah I was a little concerned about the shipping being $0.00 and getting whacked later for something like $50/each for shipping (since it's big, heavy, and awkward). So I did live chat to ask about the shipping, and he said it qualifies as free shipping.

Against my better judgment, I then asked him to verify the price. He said it came up for $4.99 for him, but that he also thought it was very strange for it to be that low, so he checked with a different department and verified that it WAS an error and that the internet team is already working on fixing the issue. He said the order would not be fulfilled if I placed it and that I would be contacted by them within a day or two explaining the error (if I did place the order). He did offer me free shipping on my next order for the inconvenience, but I never shop there so I told him not to worry about it, wasn't any trouble.

Oh well, it would have been a ridiculous deal. I was/am still half considering placing the order just to make sure it does get canceled ;)

Why would you bring a pricing error to someones attention? :headscrat

I sprung for the impact deal tonight. They had to make a metric deep set for me though since I guess one opened up or something and was all they had. They weren't used so it was ok. Plus they really had no idea how to get another ordered for free. So wasn't going to press it. Also walking around before I picked them up noticed the Pro drivers on sale/reduced as well. Got the 4pc long for $20, then got home and realized I ordered the Wiha 6pc long last week. doh. It has some smaller ones though. Short torx set for $16. A larger heavy duty one for $20 I think as well. Picked up a lone channel lock 526 slip joint plier for $4 Might have to go back for the stubby torx. Oh and 3/8 and 1/4 palm thumbwheel ratchets for $9ea

Lol they already knew and it wouldn't have went through anyway. It's not even their call, I guess the manufacturer reserves the right to cancel as well. You can be assured that a few dozen orders for an item that probably rarely sells would have brought it to their attention too. That's probably how they already knew.

Sorry anyway :(

Not only canceled, but Cabela's added insult to injury by carbon-copying 297 email addresses in their cancellation email. Not very swift. Now some folks are replying-all and expressing their displeasure. Kind of comical.

This is why I use transaction-specific throw-away emails for most everything. My email for this one was cabelas20110919@[mydomain].com. Now I just bitbucket that address and don't have to worry about it.

I'd be super pissed if they sent me an email like that! You should reply-all saying that your order hasn't been cancelled and shipped today. =)
