Did you use something to hold down the cork? Or did it just flatten out?

A little bit of both:

1) I rolled the rolls in the other direction,
2) If 1 didn't work, I rolled it up, soaked it in water and put some elastic bands over the whole roll, then I let it dry halfway, unraveled it, and put something flat with mass over top to flatten it and then let it dry. The last part is important, as cork will expand and shrink with moisture.

I was worried about directly rolling it in the opposite direction as any cork stored for long periods of time becomes brittle and a tad fragile. The water helped alot.

Hope that helped.

And yes, cork flattens out over time, but I didn't want to wait for weeks letting it settle, so I just soaked them in water to speed up the process by making it pliable.

Yeah definitely thanks. I'm fixing up an old KRA-59B Top Chest and I think the cork really looks classy.

Forgot to add that one of the PITA side effects of using a natural material is shrinkage. So far my liners have shrunk a tiny bit. This is dependent on the location and the humidity as well, so YMMV.

Here is a picture tip. I resize my pictures to 600 X 450 with a free program called Irfan View. Then post to photobucket. It brings the size right into the browser.

Nice toolbox!

I always price stuff to give me room to haggle. As a matter of fact when someone just pays the asking price I hate it because I know I priced it to cheap.
