Idea stolen. Now I just have to figure out WHERE I can mount it in the garage. It's such a great idea I might have to relocate some wall mounted stuff to accommodate it...

Got my JD BC1600 brush cutter running properly again, cleaned the spark arrestor, carb and put some fresh gas in it. Ready too go again, just in time as I know my Olathe property is going to be at least knee high from the rain and hot sun we've been having. Not bad for 13 years old....that metal blade makes short work of weeds and even saplings

....While I was doing that, this little guy flew in the garage to escape the rain, and wound up in a cobweb in the corner. Picked him out and pulled all the cobwebs off. He sat in my hand for about 2 minutes, I wasn't sure if he was hurt or not, but he finally took off and buzzed his way back to his tree outside the kitchen window where my wife keeps the hummingbird feeders.

Took a pile of stuff to the recycling center. Replaced the screens in the garage windows. Put mats on the shelves of the welding cart.

Laid on my back in the Malibu trying to find the accessory junction block all my GM manuals say is supposed to be there, so I can finish the optional trunk light install. One lousy plug to connect & I can't seem to figure out where it's hiding. I thought I knew these G-bodies pretty well...:headscrat

Installed new driver door master power window switch after much trouble shooting, changed oil and filter, put yakima topper on for our trip to the ocean this weekend. All on our 2002 Explorer. Forever having electrical issues! Been a good family SUV but if you don't have knowledge, patience and resources to fix all the small tedious issues explorers have you'd be screwed!

My brother had one so I usually call him first, wife's sisters husband is Ford mechanic and my neighbor across the street is ex paccar engineer so between all of us we usually figure out the explorers little quirks! [emoji482][emoji2]

Rebuilt my son's Nerf Vulcan gun with salvage parts bought off eBay.

Why? I'm a nerd.

Yes, it's a chain fed machine gun that shoots those little foam Nerf darts. It got wet and the battery and motor contacts corroded badly.

In the process of building a bed frame... There are a couple of things that I need to do to it still. That was my after work project this week.

I unpackaged and started to put together, this.

Now I have to affix the top to the cabinets, install a switch and wire it, attach the router to the plate, and I'm ready to start using it.

I started putting the free floor jack back together. I now see why the local hydraulic repair place said they would even work on it for less than $150. Right now I have three quarts of oil in the repair, 2 free O-rings and a lot of time and swearing in the job.

Hummingbirds have good memories and are really social birds... dont be surprised if more show up; I rescued one that got trapped in our house, and within a few days the one or two we had grew to about 10. The original one... would hover by the picture windown in the front room until it saw us, do this little bounce up and down side to side and then fly off. Its friends used to do "arial combat maneuvers" off our front porch; I was kind of sad we had to leave them behind when we moved.

Amazing when you watch one go after a yellow jacket or much larger bird, you realize they're not just cute little things - they're the F-4 fighter jocks of the wild bird world!

WatsonComeHere: What is that? Got a link to it?

It's a version of the Incra Jig. I've got an early one and use it to make all kinds of useful wood joints. I made some Maple cradles with sliding dovetails up to 24" long.

WatsonComeHere: Mine is the early one made out of composite materials (some kind of plastic/fiberglass). I put inserts in the table top so I could remove it easily. I also found that if you have a long fence you should clamp the ends before pressing against it.

Painted the garage. Took 4 hours to put up 9 gallons of paint including moving the scaffolding around.

Then added the battens. I started to paint them, but it took too long with a roller. I will just shoot the garage again after they are all up.

Got the trim for windows on the garage wall cut and furred out to match up with the 7/16" OSB. Will be painting them later today.

Also got the french cleats cut from 3/4" plywood for on the wall. Will be painting these when I do the trim as well.

I bought and erected the harbor freight 10x17' garage.
it's for the tractor and yard stuff so they don't have to be in the Behemoth.
All shovels and other long hangy **** will go there also.

$179 is a deal for the garage. 170sqft.of my real grage is regained.

Not sure where you live, but winters up here are not easy on those. First one I tried the cover cracked and ripped during winter cold. The second one, a much sturdier (I thought) version with 2" metal tubing frame collapsed under a heavy snow fall. YMMV.
