New Toy Bosch GLM-15 Laser Measurer and "coaster" from Lowes. They charge $.25 for their flooring samples, perfect filler price to bump the laser over the $50 mark for the $10 off coupon. I'll knock the tongue and groove off on the table saw and use it as a bench coaster.

it struck me funny when I saw it and did the math in my head. Had to ask twice if that was the deal I thought it was lol. They have a good deal coming up on 1/4 stuff too. Can't remember exactly what it was but I signed up for it

You can't go wrong with any of the BOGO deals on the truck, patience is your friend. There should be another deal where you buy the semi-deep and get a flex long handle ratchet for free (two BOGO deals will complete your set). Haven't seen it on 1/2" yet but they (1/4" and 3/8") come on sale once or twice a year.

My first taste of Koken. Really nice quality. My low light pictures don't do them justice.

10 and 12mm universal sockets with twin ball detents inside which retain fasteners. Figured they'd be great for getting stuff out of or back into places my fingers just comfortably cant go. They're pinned and the joints are very tight. Hoping they stay that way.

Zeal 16mm (5/8") spark plug socket. Has a very firm spring retention so locking extensions would be mandatory for recessed plugs. Really impressive to me was the precision of the detent retention cut-outs in the bottom. Unfortunately my picture doesn't do it justice, however they look precisely machined as opposed to the normal small scalloped sections.

Zeal 1/4" flex ratchet. Only disappointment here is the switch direction is opposite to every other pear head ratchet I have. Sadly I probably wont use it much if ever due to that. I knew their antiquated Proto copies were like that but didn't know the Zeal ratchets (different mechanism I believe) were also like that. Its not fine tooth by any standard but it does have an extremely low drag resistance so the tooth count/swing arc almost becomes a non-issue.

this year's conference deal is buy the metric mid length set and get the flex AND non flex comfort grip 1/4 ratchets for free. the 1/2 deal is buy the deep set and get the 24" flex ratchet for free.

was playing around with that test light on the truck today. Kinda neat how it works. Would be curious to hear how you like it after using it for a little while.

**** that looks awesome even if a lil ricey.
Are the CF trims self made or Snap on OE?

EDIT: Oh that's OE from Snap on. Kewl!
$5 1/2K is a lot of dough though.

Where I do agree with the ricey part, I have to say I do love them haha, They are real CF that you kinda stick on (same as the steel door guards)

I got a really good deal on it but at the same time I bought it through my company, I knew there was a reason I worked so much haha.

I got my late Christmas present from my mom. A pair of the TOUGHBUILT sawhorses with adjustable legs. These things are a tank. I haven't built a work table with them yet, but I don't fought the 2600 LBS capacity. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421296563.519855.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1421296586.151085.jpg

I have two and the legs bent already. Just be careful. They don't flex well.

Picked up a Master Thread Restorer kit and a set of metric and SAE nut drivers from Craftsman (all US made). Sure could have used the thread restorers last weekend...

Never had any problems with the Clarke 1's I've got, had them for 2 years & use them every week, they are cr-mo with an aluminium coating & coloured with the plastic sleeves, they are identical to those 1's.

Did you buy a set of the nut grip sockets or just those 2? May I ask where you purchased them and how much? Thanks :)

Scored these on Amazon a few days ago for $15. The price jumped right back up to $57 after I ordered them.
Urrea 1/2" drive, deep, 12 point.

Mexican tools are a first for me, but they seem pretty nice!
SAE tools marked with their exact metric size are another first for me too.
Not quite sure what the reasoning is behind that, but it's sort of neat.

I'll start looking out for more Urrea after seeing these.

Had some more bonus points to burn at Sears so picked up some of the 1/2" Craftsman Industrial stuff. Figure the ratchet is a good backup for my backup...haha Got an Enderes 6 in 1 as well.

8-19mm set, excluding pointless sizes like 11,16 etc, which aren't used on motorbikes. These things are way huge for t-handles. The 19mm is 325mm tall. Anyway, happy birthday to me :)

Just the two sizes, they don't sell a complete set plus I have plenty of other universal sockets so I just chose a couple common sizes to try. Purchased from frankstools, $20 a piece during his little holiday sale.

I think the double size marking is a great idea and wish my sockets had that.

Can you please give me the model number to that screw driver set :)
Thank you

Its funny you asked..... I asked the same question in this thread about 20 pages back after soneone else posted the same set. Lol.

The model number for the set is: SDDX70AR. The last letter (R) refers to the color.

Picked up some socket trays today. Didn't realize how many sockets I don't have....
Also grabbed a orange dead blow since I was at HF

I came to the same realization when I got some Hansen organizers for Christmas. I thought I had pretty much all I'd want but every time I open my socket drawer those empty slots are without fail were my focus goes first.

Did you have a problem with some of the sockets not going on the pins? The hole in three of my deep Pittsburgh Pro impact sockets isn't big enough and so the sockets won't go on to the pins. Wonder how I should fix it?

I had one that was tight and needed a little pressure. I think I'll just take a razor and shave two sides
