So I just got my metric 12 point Snap On set in and it does not have 11 mm in the mid length, they don't even make one???? They just left a blank space screaming at my OCD!

Damn they are getting like harbor freight now skipping sizes

Take a look at these, the same manufacturer, but a little less corny.

One of the best tools I have bought; when you need it, it's worth it's weight in gold. If it's not a flush or recessed screw, this is what I reach for every time...it takes about as much time as using a screwdriver on a non-stripped head. Also, if you have a flush screw head and you have to drill it out, these will remove the left over stud with ease(if it sticks out at all). Better than left handed drill bits, better than EZ-outs and all those other tools for the stripped head task.

Got it to remove the rusted/rounded brace bolts to access burnt headlight bulb. I was able to remove 2 bolts easily and replace them with new bolts. I rounded one using Vise Grips. The other was already rounded. I was skeptical at first but it works like it said it would. :rocker:

I just picked up both the Engineer PZ-58 and the PZ-59 (larger version) myself. Have used the PZ-58 already and they work great. Definitely not a gimmick.

How useful are they for automotive work? Been looking at those, but don't know if they're useful for basic automotive repair.

If you have any small bolt or screw that is rounded off, they will grab it. The only thing they can't do is countersunk or flush screws, but you don't need much of a head to grab. Basically the first time you use them, they pay for themselves.

I'm no grinder guru, but I saw this on C/L this morning for 55 bucks, I had to run and buy it. Original owner and still the original stone wheels on it.
