So looks like mounting a set on the Lid pointed Down and maybe a set on the front facing back would light up the cabinet REALLY NICE.
or possibly mounting a set on the lid left & right like above, then another set on the front & back of the lid ALL pointing down.
may have to test this out to see HOW it looks. Needless to say these things are BRIGHT and CLEAR !!
They do get warm, so hoping mounting them on the metal frame will help dissipate heat.
will do some more testing on location BEFORE i fix mount them where they will live !!

Have a link to the power supply you used by chance?
Let us know how they work out after you start blasting with them in the cabinet.
BTW, I have my blast cabinet shop vac (2 Gal Cman) vented to the outside.

can you validate if that is Glass Bead or Crushed Glass
see many complaints that it is NO longer Bead but Crushed Glass !!

then bought these to adapt over 2.1x5.5mm DC Power Cable Jack Adapter Connector Plug
going to see when i get to it IF i can mount it all up and still use the factory switch and box.

can get the power supplies ALL over eBay and else where, as well as the connectors. i just used my PRIME to get things a lil quicker and local.

Thanks for the links. I LOVE Amazon and buy as much as I can from there. I rarely need anything immediately and prefer to avoid stores and the general public as much as possible

ok, was asking cause many people are upset cause it is labeled as glass bead but it really crushed glass !!

Starting Collecting PVC Fittings and such to build and layout my Blast Media Recovering/ Dust Collection System. I have my Dust Deputy on hand, and plan to hook it up to my 5 Gallon Shop Vac.
Shop Vac Fitting on end of Tube is approx 1.12" dia
Fitting on back of Blast Cabinet it 1.50" dia
Fittings on Dust Deputy are 1.90" dia

Granted i bought many fittings, elbows, tees, couplings, reducers, etc... it came down to these parts to make mine how i want it: All From Lowes:
5ft 1.50" Pool Hose
1- 2" to 2" Flex Coupling w/ Clamps
1- 1.50" Sanitary Tee
1- 1.50" 90 deg Street Elbow*
1- 1.50" 45 deg Street Elbow*
1- 1.50" Pipe Plug

Hooked the Flex Coupling onto the end of the Pool Hose, used hte 2 clamps to snug it on and ensure it would NOT slip out. the other side of the Coupling will connect to the Dust Deputy Side Port

I then cut a piece of 1.50" sch 40 PVC to about 4 inches long.
Then took the Rubber Cap and took a hole saw and cut out a 1.12" hole in the center, or roughly center. This is for the Shop vac hose, since the end is about 1.12" and tapers up to 1.25" i wanted to ensure and easy slip fit that was air tight.

after various testing, i came up with my solution for connections and fittings.
Sanitary Tee on the Inlet of the Dust Deputy, direction flowing towards vacuum, since this is the flow of the air naturally. then on the vacuum end, i put either the 45 or 90 elbow depending on where and how you want the exit angle. then put in the 4" piece of cut 1.50" PVC pipe, and the modified flex cap.
you can swivel the elbow get the desired angle add more, remove them, etc.. you can connect direct to the tee or dust deputy if so desired. i plan to mount mine on a shelf UNDER my Cabinet, maybe on a rolling cart ??

Now on the other end of the Tee you can plug it off, or use a reducer, or plug and drill holes as desired. I found out in my testing that if i had it plugged then there was TOO MUCH Vacuum and it would such in the Plexi Glass viewing window !! so i tried to reduce the suction in the cabinet. I tried drilling a few holes in the 4" pvc to reduce suction, this worked a little but not enough to stop sucking in the window. i find that using the 1.50 to .50 reducer works great. i can also tape over portion of it to reduce air and increase suction IF needed.

Yeah I Know this is a pretty primitive set up but it works, I know have to build by bucket for the Deputy. Simple yet effective, most expensive plumbing part was the hose. if you have spare laying around it should be cheaper.

Notice the install of the LEDs, they are temp, till i get in some nice wire clips to secure them down.

Got in my clips, and they are nice, use 3M adhesive tape, and stick like glue... hold the wires tight and in place.
Tucked the wire up under the rails, and the clips fit nicely !!

Ran the machine with 50% Alum Oxide & 50% Glass Bead, 80 Grit
blasted some small brake parts for my 1929
worked great, and no issues. the vacuum and dust deputy worked great. kept the cabinet clean and clear at all times.
