So I hit two ES's and a yard sale. The first one I went too looked the most promising from pics, but it was an hour away. Prices were great, but it was clear that the family had gone through it beforehand. Lotta junk, old tractors, but not many tools. I managed to scrounge a few things though:
Letter punch set (missing the S and the K...) Snap-on, Proto and Power Kraft 3/8's drive tools, Indestro puller, a small red tray for sorting and a P&C extension. All for $2.
The next stop was the one I should have hit first, but they focused on the wrong stuff for the pics. Great old shop, nice Delta tools, cool old Dodge truck for sale, but they put up pics of Xmas stuff? In any case, I picked up the following:
Stanley marking gauge, Proto LA 3/4 extension and socket (out of the pic), MAC woodies, drag link sockets (including one Plomb rope braid!) Plomb single end wrenches from the '20's, spark plug gap tool, Bog ratchet and Blue Point cape chisel. Oh and this:
It was just hanging on the wall, so I couldn't leave it behind! $35 for all that.
The garage sale was just around the corner, so I picked up the following:
Two Williams clamps and a stool. The stool I needed for working on my bicycle, and I saw some misc. tools in among the **** inside so I paid $10 for all that. Here are the tools I found worthwhile:
Proto and Craftsman sockets, Ace small driver, Brass Craft hook spanner, Stanley nail sets and a pair of Artisan pliers. Then I went and got some onion rings.
