Spicymeatdong's Garage! Now with cabinets!!

This is the begining of the garage renovation. Taping *****!!! If it wasnt for that... the whole project would be moving along a lot faster. Got a coat of Killz on the wall and then went with cieling paint and sem gloss exterior for the walls. Had the rest of the fam over to lend a hand getting the plates on the wall.

Havent added to thread in a bit. Got the garage floor done and got some serious work done on the work bench! Got the floor grinded... waterproofed and then put on an epoxy coating with quartz in it. Seems to be very tough so far!

I like everything your doing there. Diamond plate is cool. Shop bench looks like something i'd build. Very nice. I'm curious about the MAX-jacks? Have you used the lift yet? Any good? Whats the lifting capacity of those and lift height?

Thanks... but not my idea. This idea was stolen from Steevo's thread... He did something very similar and I just modified his plans for my use. Check it out!

Where did you get the round pads for the MaxJax??

I HATE The square ones that came with it because of how they can't turn and get bound up on the arm because of the angle that the one part of the metal raises up...

Garage is coming along! Looks great!

Thanks,
-Nigel

Round pads came with the lift... Might wanna call them up and see if they can send ya something. Here is the plate that will mount the pump and diverter to the wall. Tack welded the bolts in the holes so I have solid studs in the front. Getting paint now.

What type of material (the black) did you use along the top and bottom of the diamond plate? It looks awesome by the way

The black border is 1/4" x 2" pine. I routed 1/8" x 1/2" out of the back so it would lock the diamond plate into place rather than just sit on top of it

Thanks... getting everything to line up is a lil tricky... That and drilling 1/4" steel with a hand drill is tough

Dang your pump looks different than mine too and others that I have seen here... I love that you have a drain plug on the reservoir...!

ok... lift is in and it appears to be working well except for a couple issues.
1. Lowering is slow.... real slow
I noticed there looks to be some adjustments on the side of the release block where the lowering handle is but havent found any info about it yet.
2. Had one side get stuck while lowering.
Gunna pull the lift apart today and make sure everything is greased well.
Other than that... Looks pretty pimp.
