Hi everyone.
I'm in the process of building a new house with attached 20'x24' (6mx7.2m) garage.
ive got lots of good ideas here and spec'd the trusses above to be attic trusses for extra storage and a 5' offset to one side for a workshop area.
things to go in the new garage will be...
1/2" ply lined walls instead of sheet rock.
tire rack/storage shelf.
Unitstrutt attic lift (thanks GJ)
LED lights.
beer fridge.
Media cupboard for the whole house including 12V power supply
Car stereo installed into walls
8' workbench with overhead cupboards.
filing cabinet power tool storage
sadly not big enough for a car lift. :(
I'm a bit worried about only having a 15' door but as one car is a turbo miata, i guess itll be fine...not many F150's here in NZ :)

heres a really basic 3D render of how it will sorta look.
