I'm trying to get pricing and delivery on a model 20 floor jack. So far I've tried calling the 800 number on the website, says number is no longer in service. Tried filling out the contact form via the website and get an internal server error when I try to submit it. Hopefully something else is going on but it's not looking good.

Does anyone know if Milwaukee Hydraulics is still in business?

Please update us if you find out anything.

I purchased a Model 20 jack a few years ago. It's been great. I hope they are still in business.

Absolutely they are... or at least they were a month ago.
I have a model 20 that I've had for 22 years. Works great, and it was an antique when I bought it at a garage sale for $10.

Well I called the 414 number, it went to voice mail after a few rings. I left a message we will see if I get a call back.

Let me know as well. I am thinking of the griots garage jack made in spain. I have an AC hydraulics that works great, but want a longer reach as I got the shorter one. I want a low profile longer jack as well.

FWIW... When I checked on pricing in Aug. of '15, the 20 had jumped to $695.

Thanks, I originally tried phjjacks, none in stock.

I've left messages at Milwaukee, no return call.

Tried calling local milwaukee service centers to see if they had anything. Two out of the three were out of business, the salesman at the other insisted I had the wrong number and they don't repair jacks.

All along I've been watching CL, nothing but Chinese ****. Running out of gas on this one.

Is Milwaukee Hydraulics still in business?

Today I decided to play detective. Calling shops in and around Milwaukee. Net for my efforts is that Milwaukee Hydraulics is a family owned business and the family head of the business has been experiencing "health issues" and that the business is "on hold" Milwaukee Hydraulics is not manufacturing and for the most part not communicating, the website contact page is broken, 800 number is disconnected and the (414) number goes unanswered. Only one person reported receiving a parts order after sending a letter (snail mail) and that was two months ago.

I hope they are listening, there is a loyal following out here waiting with orders for jacks and parts!

Unfortunately, the question still stands; Is Milwaukee Hydraulics still in business?

I hope Frederick Charles Read (President) is listening, there is a loyal following out here waiting with orders for jacks and parts!

I ran into the same thing, however as mentioned by others there are several sites selling them new. Seems like the going rate for new is somewhere in the $900 range.

I was hoping to find a used or rebuilt one but after searching and calling those appear to be non-existent.

I came across an old Hein Werner today, as much as I wanted a Milwaukee model 20 I couldn't justify the $900.

Saw this thread and emailed the owner. Here is the response:
Thank you for your email.

Yes, we are still manufacturing Milwaukee Jacks.
We have been increasing our production to keep up
with the demand for both 2-Ton and 4-Ton Jacks, however, we still continue to have a Back-Log/ Waiting List.
I am out of the office often, therefore, I regret I am unable to respond in a timely manner to many phone messages.

I've been down to the office to pick up my purchases, all I can say is that is THE best price and they're great products.

For those still looking for a used Milwaukee floor jack without success, I would suggest looking on craigslist, letgo offerup and others in other regions. I know that shipping can be prohibitive. However, friends and family members can be very useful in your search.
While looking on craigslist one day I found a Milwaukee 20 in a Los Angeles suburb. ultimately I wasn't fast enough to get this one. I looked in the San Francisco region (+200 miles on craigslist) and found one near a family member and they completed the purchase. A few weeks later I went to visit them by car, something I would have done anyway, and picked it up.

I have a model 20 that I would be willing to let go. I'm in the boston area. I would say it needs a rebuild but holds my chevy 2500 for 30 minutes with no leaks

I ran across this thread while trying to establish a price for a model 40 that has had little use and I will be selling. What do you guys think a fair price would be? Location is Omaha Ne. for pick up or shipping
Thanks in advance for any Input
Tim
