Looks great. Great practical sedan to go with the rest of the stable. Is that a 750? I have always liked the 7 series since i drove a v12 750 back in the 90's.

Thansk!. I almost went with the 7 but stuck with the 535XI. Its AWD and Turbo....a really fun daily driver.

MH: are you deadlifting those urethane IGX plates with the bands on the bar. you're a beast and good for you for keeping in shape.

any more pictures of the LAMBO to post? don't get me wrong i love the dog, bike and shop pictures and even the weights or gym equipment, but just saying i've got my eyes on a 1000 HP Lambo build (or was that 700 HP?).

cheers and hope all is well in your world

Just read through this whole thread....unbelievable. You're definitely the only guy I know that DIY's a garage rehab, and DIYs a TT lambo build. Very impressive stuff

I can't decide which import I like the best...one of the Japanese, or one of the Italians, or the German...stunning collection man I hope you take time to enjoy all this hard work as well

That lambo engine looks surprisingly similar to a BMW N62B44 engine I rebuilt a few years back. Well, other than the two extra cylinder, lol

Looking good. I think we're all looking forward to more pics of that engine going together.

MH: i know you are busy making HAY to pay for all the parts for your LAMBO among other things and just wondering if you have had any progress.

also i like bumping up your thread cause you've got a lot of cool stuff in it that other members need to see and this section moves fast so thousands of threads can get in front of yours.

cheers and anything new?

I also wanna add that I'm damn glad all the photos in this thread are still working!:rocker: I'm glad you didn't host them through P-bucket.

SOOOO glad this thread was not ruined by P-bucket! It is one of my favorites. I love the whole setup and cars.

Is working on the cars just a hobby or you are a certified mechanic? What ever be the case, you got some skills

Kind of a weird blend. I own a garage that has certified mechanics and they do mostly repair / maintenance on more common vehicles. My business partner and I also do performance work for people and handle most of that at my home garage. Neither of us have certs in anything...just started taking things apart and trying to make them faster about 10 years ago and never quit lol.

Thanks man...appreciate it!

MH: thanks for posting up a few more pictures of your cool cars and dogs. did you shelf the 1000 HP Lambo engine for now cause it looks like it's off the rack or did you finish it while you were taking a bit of a break from GJ?

you've got some pretty nice skills for just being a guy working in his garage.

The Lambo has been in limbo. I have been going back and forth on how much power I actually want to try and push and debated on putting it back together completely stock or shooting for 700-800 or 1000k hp +. Been talking to several shops about the machine work needed and just haven't figured out what I want to do with it.

Thanks... I have always tried to find really good mechanics / tuners / fabricators and learn from them. So much to know with this hobby....not enough time.

Hope that your doing well!

Honestly... I have been disappointed in them. Do you have a set that you do like?

You may have misread my post.. not sure.. just commented that those grips are garbage.. I picked up the smallest pair for free-unused.. it’s horrible quality-Snap-On is apparently slapping their name on anything to make a buck in some cases.

I was agreeing with you.... I don't like them much either.

Is there another brand / set that you do like?

MH: i'm doing great up here in the PNW even though it just snowed the last few days. it takes me a while to post after reading and looking at all your cool pictures cause i need to wipe off the saliva off my laptop to write a post.

DAMN is all i can say and keep up the great progress. looks like business is supporting your cool tools, cars and lifestyle nicely so i hope it keeps doing so.

if you want to start collecting some of the VINTAGE TOOLS you might find out that some of the new stuff is really made pretty cheap compared to ones that were made even before WWII, but i bet you don't go to many tool auctions or garage sales.

keep posting pictures and stuff as you have time to and ask questions if you have any about tools or how to do something on your thread or just start new threads or ask questions on those threads talking about subjects you need information on.

take care!!

Went and helped my buddy with his Porsche yesterday....car only has a couple thousand miles and he is already tearing it apart lol.

Current project is swapping the front end over to the 911 fenders / lights and bumper.

Do the the fenders and bumpers just line right up!? Or were there some brackets making that work.

I wish that they had made it that easy to just bolt up.....its gonna end up being fairly involved. The front and inner bolts up perfectly...the issue is that this fender is taller and and not as long as the OEM 718 fender. So there is a gap between it and the door.

Maybe get the 991 door...maybe Frankenstein the old fender and new...not sure yet.
