For hand tools you can't get much more of a difference in size. I got the KAL USA universal off EBAY for 3.20 shipped, and the channellock 460 on clearance at Meijer for 17.99. I had been procrastinating on a 460 for years. Meijer had a fair amount of tekton, channellock, and a few others on clearance. The other two 460's had a significant overbite so I settled on this one fitment wise.

I don't think it's a safe bet to order Channellock over the interwebs these days. The last two needlenose pairs I bought, I had to inspect 6 or 7 of them before I found a pair that had good grind lines and match-up. Really glad i was in a store and not ordering in the blind.

Craftsman screwdrivers are Made in Japan, same as Vessel impacta. Went to HF looking for the elusive Braun LED but none in stock. Picked up a HyperTough led light at Walmart USA, was worried that it was cool white, but it is neutral/warm white. Cost was just under $20, it is really well built, I was actually surprised. Next time I am in the US, I will buy another.

Cheap picks and magnetic socket holder (same as mechanics time savers) from princessauto, check surplus. $10 gray tools wrench

I see that water softener in the background. I don't have one anymore but the house is still plumbed for it. I miss that slippery water. :)

A couple of new to me arrivals! Picked up the impact for cheap, couldn't say no. The wrenches I've added to my 4 way angle vintage collection.

That being said, if anyone has any of this style angle wrench from Snap On, there's a few more sizes I'm on the hunt for!

stopped by Samsel Supply here in Cleveland. I've raved about them before - they sell industrial supplies and tools, specializing in marine items. They have a sizable clearance section and I found a few goodies today.
Had to get the little jab saw, never saw one like that before. The holesaw is an odd size (15/16) that I've been looking for. Also got a nice pair of winter gloves (not pictured).

Also got a OSCA 300g machinist hammer.
Will be ordering a lot more hammers from them. Absolutely love this little thing.

Tired of messing around with China made screw extractors. I ordered some from Zoro that were advertised as usa-made and when I received three sets of them they said China. So then I just gave those away and I went on a mission for usa-made on eBay and scored these.

Greenfield on the Left, Hanson on the right. So on Zoro even with a 25% coupon I paid a little over $40 for 3 5-piece sets that were supposed to be made in the USA. Let me just say that eBay is the place to go for screw extractors. Cheap; cheaper than Zoro(even with coupon) and made in USA when Zoro is not(they tell you it is; but they send you China). Too many people in the industry who do not pay attention to detail. I was specifically looking for American made extractors.

There is a good extractor made in China that I've had good luck with. Mibro; they are carried at Tractor Supply. Broken bolts are an everyday repair in my job. I have best luck with spiral easy outs. They won't twist. I've had the body on Square easy outs twist. d62cd78e5a184e6f6751953fd27b4bed.jpg
