Hi guys. What is the circled part called? Are they (one under table as well) worth anything? I can’t find any info on them. TIA

It looks like an extension to increase the depth from the chuck to the column. I've not seen one before and presume they're not common.
While a handy thing to have, it's not necessarily the most in demand of parts due to also taking the chuck out of alignment with the hole in the centre of the table found on many drills - and also because there probably aren't many people aware they even exist.

That looks like an early radial drill press to me? Is that the part you were referring to? Do you maybe have the Manufacturer?

Thanks. I didn’t know they existed either, until just the other day, when I saw one on an old Craftsman. Looked like a great idea for larger pieces. Previous searches for variations of “drill press extension” have proved almost completely useless. A couple of pics, but no details, like an actual name/maker.

They are some kind of accessory to extend the throat of regular DP. Saw a pic on a Craftsman, and this one on a Walker Turner 900, but don’t know who actually made them.

Ok. Walker Turner drill press extension arm, is what it is. Nothing out there about it, so I guess it wasn’t very popular back in the day.

I know i have seen it in the 1941 Craftsman Catalog, and I know theres a similar style Delta Radial drill press in my city for sale (they want $800 for theirs)

look at 1944 "Walker-Turner Metal Working Machine Tools" under General Line Catalogue... Vintage Machinery.org

You look to have a Walker Turner 9D6 Drill press Extension Arm found Bottom of Page 13
