Hi....new guy here. I'm a big motorcycle kind of guy so I did my garage Harley style. I spend alot of time in there watching football and drinking beer:beer: . It's a gathering place for the neighbors as well as a place to store and work on my bikes. It's only a 2 car garage, but even with the bar in there, I fortunately still have room for 4 bikes and my car. It's a work in progress and still needs a floor, I also need to partition off the area around the washer and dryer.

I told my wife our next house only needs to be a 10 car garage, with a bathroom, microwave, and refrigerator.

Here are some before and after pics, but after seeing some of the garages posted here, I'm humbled to be sure. Please tell me what you think (but only if it's good J/K).

Cool looking garage, looks like it handles all your needs, hang-out sport, parking spot, and maintenance spot.

BTW I like your VR1000 model, always wished they'd kept working on that bike.

It's a 2007 dodge Charger SRT-8, bone stock. 6.1L, 425HP, 420ft lb...pretty fast for a heavy car. Love it to death but it's a gas hog...especially at Cali gas prices.....

Thanks all....

That is my DRZ that I don't get dirty as often as I like....I mostly just use it to commute to work with these days.

How do you like your Charger? I rented one and it was a POS. Obviously it was the base rental car and probably a little abused, but do they get better as you move up the line? The SRT engine is very attractive, but does the rest of the car keep up? The steering feel on my rental was terrible.

What's with the washer and dryer in the garage? For shop rags, etc?

The SRT is a totally different car than the rest of the Charger line. Even the next one in line, the R/T (340HP). Completely different engine, wheels/tires, brakes (Brembo), suspension, steering, interior, front/rear end, hood, adjustable pedals, more that I can't think of. It handles extrememly well for a big heavy car. You should go test drive one.....once I drove it I was sold. I was looking at this and a new Corvette and I chose the Charger. I know most wwould probably have chosen the Vette because it's a Vette, but I can haul *** and 5 people instead of just 2...


I have since covered the washer and dryer with faux leather curtains that match the Harley thing I have going on in there:thumbup:

Great looking garage. The bar fits in really well on the side and still leaves enough room for the bikes.

I LOVE that car. I drove a R/T Charger and really liked it so I can't imagine how much fun the SRT 425 hp is.:rocker:

Nice set-up, I'm working on finishing my shop, what brand are your gray colored cabinets and are they readily available from a local outlet ?

Thanks....the cabinets are available at Home Depot.....Closet Maid, I think...

Like what you've done with the garage as far as the bar and the cabinets, but I couldn't get four bikes and a cage to work in my 24x24. I would get everything setup like I wanted it as far as the benchs, welder, blast cabinet, and all my other items, and WHAM! I'd have to pull one of the bikes apart for something and there goes all of the floorspace if it came down to a mutiple day job. The wife finally got tired of complaining that her truck was outside so I just kinda "absorbed" the whole garage to myself. Now it's not enough either. You just made me realize that I must have a wet bar in my new building!

Just completed this workshop for one of the upper brass at Harley-Davidson for his home in Mequon, WI. I can post a few more pictures after the signs get installed along the back wall if anyone would care to see more.

That is an odd pair.

The garage door is the best part of that garage, imo.

Love your garage! I would also like to use mine for a dual purpose ( showcase my H-D Duece and do a little entertaining as well. Like the idea of the bar. Our house / driveway / garage has been the summer gathering place for friends and family over the past couple of years and with inspiration like yours it will continue to be...

I really like the bar you built. I am trying to build one siilar for my new shop, the one problem I faced was trying to find the chicago rail for the top, Where did you get that and what did you use for the top surface? Thanks for any info. Nice bikes by the way, I ride an 02 roadking.

Thanks, it's great to be out there..people just gravitate to it since the door is wideopen and you can see someone is home and hanging out.
