Gunslinger,
I really like the bar you built. I am trying to build one siilar for my new shop, the one problem I faced was trying to find the chicago rail for the top, Where did you get that and what did you use for the top surface? Thanks for any info. Nice bikes by the way, I ride an 02 roadking.

Cheers!

Thanks. I have a friend (the guy in the pictures helping me build the bar) who is in the moulding business. He got me the rails. You may want to call some moulding shops in your area, if they don't carry it, they can get it for you. The top is 1/2" plywood, topped with 3/4" oak veneer that I stained ebony before covering it with glass.

Agreed....I don't even drive the car so much anymore. It's getting warmer around here and the top is off the Jeep or I'm on a bike. Anyone want a slightly used Charger? (just kidding:beer: )

"...way better"??? Oh Man there's no way... I mean to tell you if you Google "Harley Bar" or "Harley Garage" out of the whole wide world - your pictures come up! That's pretty impressive~! It's like the ole "if you look up ______ in the dictionary..." saying.

But thinks for the compliment. It has a few changes but not many since the photo. Def get some photos up... I'd like to see em.

OH WOW... I just noticed you posted new photos... once again~!!!!

Nice 21 on the Ultra... (did you lower the fender with a kit?) and that Road King looks like a diamond as well!

Awesome garage. Looks like you worked real hard on it. I love it. I especially like the bar and bar stools. The carpet really goes with the theme as well. COOOOL!!

Here's my recently completed Harley space...
Mine is a converted music studio... 12x24, walls were once all white, we added the orange and black, the black cabinet is a recycled medical cabinet that used to be green.

Hey, nice shop and I love the bar. I have a 4200 sq ft MOPAR shop, 650 of which was my extra place to hang and a mother in law unit. Wife stole it, citing that I had 3600 sq ft to myself. Its now her art studio. So I have been toying with the idea of using the front section of the front shop to add a second bar area and a couch for friends to hang. I have this bar ( 50s style diner and bar) in my home, but NO CIGARS aloud inside/ thats my rule not hers, so an area like your would be the perfect touch. Instead of using a whole bay I think I will do the end of the 28x32 shop, because my vehicles dont use the whole 28feet depth. Then I could run the bar and entertainm, ent area the whole lenght of the front shop, which is now only a car display area, as the big shop attached to back hold the work load and dust, ect.

In any case, I broke my ankle two nights ago at work and have 6-8 weeks of time off to read/ plan and get ideas. You are first on my list:thumbup:

And you have also made me decide to get a Harley. I have wanted one for a long time, but being in Law Enforcement and seeing lot sof accidents, I stayed away from bikes. I do my own body and paint and have always wanted a custom Harley and a 40s Indian for looks.

So, in short, Im telling my wife its your fault:beer:

Dave

Just completed this workshop for one of the upper brass at Harley-Davidson for his home in Mequon, WI. I can post a few more pictures after the signs get installed along the back wall if anyone would care to see more.

It's almost a dream garage, all it needs is some custom painted signs by www.rynodesigns.com, that's the chery that tops the sundaye.
