Well after finishing the house 10+ years ago the garage was never fully completed. After reading thru many of the threads here it has inspired me to finally finish my garage. Okay it is nothing flash, especially by most that are on here, but hopefully when it is finished it will be very practical and tidy.
This is what I started with a basic three car garage. It was unlined so it provided plenty of shelf spaces between the studs. (damm I will miss that)

I started by lining the bottom of the garage with a plywood panel board in New Zealand we call it shadow board. I rebated a grove in the top of the ply and used a "H" section aluminium profile to join the ply and the sheet rock.

I managed to make some cupboards for extra storage between the studs (it is a double depth stud at this part)

After the panel and sheet rock was complete I had to build the over head storage. I decided to make steel shelves and suspend them from the ceiling. I used Unistrut Chanel to suspend the 8mm threaded rod

All the sheet rock and suspension installed and painted
[/IMG]
Installed the overhead shelving. Made these out of rectangle section steel with 2" square reinforcing type mesh and then powder coated them

I pinched the idea of using the air couplings overhead to store my air tools

That's it so far, will post more pics as the progress continues.
The list of the things to do list are:
Finish lining the roof, Install the retractable air and power reels. Grind the floor and clear coat, build new work bench and sliding shadow boards
