i have a old walker NO 867 jack that i received from my father in law, that doesn't even lift. He told me the kids were playing with it and were jacking it up and got to the maximum level and pumped it one more time past the limit and it just dropped and never worked again, my question is is it fixable, and if so whats wrong with it??? thanks for your help!!
BTW ive stripped it down and cannot get the ram and piston apart!?

You will have to make a specialty socket/tool to remove the tank nut, it was walkers way of keeping unauthorized service centers from working on there product.

Here is a link where another member made such socket, the only difference between yours and the one i linked is that your utilizes a inner spanner also. As far as what is wrong with your jack? Without tearing it apart I'd be spitballing but they do have a over extend bar/valve and its possible that it may be causing problems.
