Chas Parker no 474. They must have done this for awhile. The pic I posted was the only one I've ever seen prior to yours. Note: the above is not mine.

Several of the Parkers of that style have been posted, and I lust for one...

ZK the ChiCom rotators were actually patterned off an English made vise. I can't remember the maker. (not record) but I think they still make them for the Brit Military, or did until recently...

Swindens: http://www.swindens-vices.co.uk/

But actually the original design is US according to a member who calls himself Outlawmws :D http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3577728&postcount=10

Should anyone be interested, the Yost 750-DI is probably the best Asian made in this style: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200929

Now all I said was it was reminiscent... There is a different English vise that is so close that it was clearly used as the source design for the knock off.

zoomieport should be in here in no time, pretty sure he has one sitting in his living room! It's certainly a unique looking vise!

Not one that I know of. I believe the source is American, not English. We have the Swindens, and there are the odd other types which appear from the military front on occasion, but nothing remotely matching that design over here which I've personally seen.
