I got this box and stand about 6 months ago from a estate company in Syracuse. They have a store where all the unsold estate stuff goes. Saw it listed on CL and it said "Box, stand and all tools $150". When I got there it has a sticker on it that was $300. I asked about it and didn't mention the ad I saw. He said "If you like it I would take $200 for it". I said "Great, tools and stand included right?". "Oh no, not for that price". I mentioned the ad and he didn't believe me so I should it to him on my smart phone. He called his teenage son over and said "Did you list this on CL?". Long story short the son was supposed to list just the box, not the stand or tools. Since I had come a long way for it he let me have it all for $150. It is a home made box but done very well, looks to be 70+ years old. When I got it home I found that the stand was made out of old Ford parts, maybe running boards or something. Box was filled with tools. Lots of typical junk n(worn out files, crappy screw drivers) but a few drawers full of vintage Snap On, Wright, Bonnie and Cornwell sockets. It has a front cover just like a machinist box but I leave it off since I use the drawers often and don't want to keep taking it off.
