thats going to be pretty useable at 6x6, no fixed centre pillar (looks removable) on the double garage door and a carport out front. Lots of room for projects!

Bib: Yeah mate the previous owner has done a lot of things by halves around here as we are starting to find out.

Jacko: yes the centre pillar removes so access is a breeze.

Ok I hate when other people do this but I have to do it anyway haha. I Don't have any pics from when we moved in or any progress pics really just where it's up to as of tonight when I finally remembered to take some. We've replaced all the floors (100m2) and painted most of the house so $$$ and time have been tight but I've managed to do bits and pieces at night. I've bought some osb for the walls and I'm going to put corrugated iron around the bottom but first I need to move all the electrical off the wall studs which I can't do at night really. Any way here's some pics standing at the man door looking in. It's full of my junk now and starting to frame up for my dirty work room.

I got out in the shed for about an hour after dinner. I replaced the old flouro fitting with a new led one and I must say its a lot brighter and it comes on instantly. I'll do the others tomorrow as it got too dark to do with the power off. I also lined the walls in one corner just so I can put my locker and shelving unit against it. I'm really loving the feel of it so far with the osb and corrugated iron.

Hi guys, Terry and 1/2 Cup i havent done much as ive been painting the house etc
Anyway on the weekend i moved everything off the shelving on the south wall and dismantled it and its all in one side of the garage now.

Lined the walls on the south side and framed up the other wall for the "work" room. headers for the benches are on and i just have to pull through the elecrical before i can finish it up. Its so messy in there now but once the benches and roof are on i'll have all my storage space back plus more.

I got the bench tops on today just using all the old timber from the shelving I think I've only bought 3 lengths for the studs you can see here the rest has been recycled from stuff I've had laying around or pulled down. True budget build.

Now I just have to do a shelf underneath and I can put all the mess away. And enclose my compressor under there too. Hopefully sort that tomorrow.

Got a bit more done. Finished the benches and shelves underneath. Also used some drawers the the PO left here for power tool storage. Did some more sheeting and put in a little window

Where did you source the OSB from? So far I've only found it at Bunnings and Bowens, both only sell it in 6mm widths.

I really like the idea of having a sectioned-off working area like that, very smart.

Thanks guys. Anth this is the 6mm stuff Bunnings would only special order me a whole pack of 90 sheets an that was way more than I needed. I got the local timber place to order the exact amount from hyne. Worked out more per sheet but still less than 90 sheets!!!

I'll throw up a few random pics that I have. No real story to tell though I've been working in it not on it. The little room now has a roof and is full of stuff I also made another little shelf on the side. I have a few more shelves along the other walls to go. All of this is waiting on me to finish the slab for the garden shed so I can move all the junk out haha.
