Who makes these NAPA professional wrenches?

The wrenches are long compared to my CM wrenches. The 10mm measures 6.5 inches in length.

Danaher/Armstrong when they were still USA. If there is no USA marking then they're GW.

I have only seen those wrenches in a seven piece set that Cripe sells for $10 (one of the best $10 you'll spend by the way).
They're nice wrenches with good chrome, fit, finish, and feel. My only complaint is that I could never find a 16/17/19mm wrench to round out the set. Oh well.
Skin nailed the manufacturer as Gearwrench as the set (#90933) is made in Taiwan by Danaher Tool Group Sparks, MD 21152. Which present day Gearwrench calls home but, before there was the infamous Apex tool group was formed.

This set was made for a short period of time when NAPA professional tools went from being US made Armstrong/KD/Allen clones to clones of Gearwrench tools, and before NAPA launched their current Carlyle line.

Below are pictures of the seven piece set with its wrench holder, and a comparison to the US made NAPA professional series 11mm wrench and the Gearwrench clone (which bears the same 91668 part number as yours).

Thanks for the info!

As far as wrenches to round out the set, maybe these GearWrench or Armstrong wrenches would work? The length seems to match the rest of the kit (e.g. 11" for the 19mm GW) and so does the finish.

No, I have plenty of wrenches to round out the set but, my OCD prevents comingling of wrenches with different names. Taiwan vintage Gearwrench is a match but, a single costs more than I paid for the 7 piece set. :dunno:

Enjoy your wrenches.

A lot of the Carlyle stuff is made by KABO in Taiwan. All of their ratcheting wrenches are for sure and I think these are as well.

The Sears Max Axess are pretty much indistinguishable (well, except for the markings) from these Taiwan long pattern full polish NAPA professional wrenches you can still get at Cripe (I have both NAPA and CM). I compared the NAPA with the matching Craftsman sizes and they sure look to be forged from extremely similar die. It was generally accepted on here in past threads that these NAPA wrenches are relabeled Gearwrench.

These NAPA wrenches were made prior to the appearance of Carlyle and are Gearwrench made not KABO. I agree with you about KABO making at least some Carlyle stuff. The ratcheting wrenches even have the tell tale sealed brass screw.

^ ^ ^ Great initial price but $16 shipping is deal killer for my attempt to buy 2 sets. Any threshhold of purchases to get free/cheaper shipping ??

Email cripe and ask them for combined shipping on two sets. If I remember the second item's shipping is half price but, you have to email them first.

It will ultimately be even less, but not free. They charge actual shipping and will refund the difference. Order off their website and use the discount code "Welcome Back," or call in your order.

ETA - I have a couple sets, and like them. They're a great 10-15mm set for the price... maybe some day I'll need an 18mm wrench or three.
