Why snap on make more different round ratchets??

is your cats 5 toes?? my parents have 2 6-toes cats... one is pretty white and other one is mixture of white, black, and gray... i love both cats...

Snap-On didn't make it, I did.:lol_hitti

I think all 3 have 5 toes, haven't honestly paid much attention.

I'm going to order handles for the 3/8 and 1/2" this weekend and do them, too. This was a trial run.

Like that's gonna be possible....Are they holding the backlight for you for cleaner shots? Better training on your camera assistants will result in less post-production work for your editor you know.

I know you just did it, so you won't have an answer, but I wonder how do those handles hold up to chemicals and oil. I have a pair of diaginal cutter that found an accidental oil bath once years ago and the stupid hangle grips still twist on me depite removal and cleaning. I would be a bit concerned about the twist potential on the handle - especially on the 1/2" size.

Care to share the modification info, part #'s and process of doing this; on your ratchets? I'm assuming that you drilled out the handles a bit to get them to fit a "normal" handle... inquiring minds want to know! :)

The first thing I notice is that it looks proportional. On the mods I've seen before, the handle just looks way too big for the 1/4 ratchet.

Was it a small pick handle?

Do you drill a plain hole, or put tangs also?

I have those handles on my screwdrivers and ratchets, no issues.

Don't remember the part number for the handle, but I could get it. I didn't do any modifying to the handle.

It's a standard ratchet handle, I didn't do anything to the handle. I turned the ratchet down on my belt sander, ran a weld bead on each side, filed them into tangs, then beat the handle on.

You must really like those grips. Funny how some hate them and some love them. Doesn't seem like there is any middle ground. I have one but haven't used it much yet. Feels nice in my hand so I' think I'll like it

Can I use one of these green softgrip handles to replace the red handle (that is smashed) on my 1/4 rotohead ratchet? This is the handle currently on it

Yep, if you want red, just get rid of the G. If you want orange, put an O instead of the G.

I'm thinking long a similar line: Would the 3/8" grip fit the current FHOF80?

It's the same, as far as I know.

I went on the Snap-On truck tonight to order handles, and handed her the "TH860" and told her I would like to order another one. I let her in on it...after a few minutes of head scratching.:spit: She had the 3/8" handle, 1/2" should be in next week.

Yep, I want green to match the screwdrivers.
I don't have any other comfort handle ratchets.
They are all chrome except for this one...

Can anyone provide the ID of the handle bores, or the OD of the ratchet handles that they go on? I'm thinking of using them for a project.

Do you think you could take a 17" SF80 and cut it down a bit and put a comfort grip. . . making it about 13" long ?

We need more pictures of the cat's >.>

well maybe some more of nissan's little shop and work area as well.

It's somewhere on this board. Nothing special, small 2-car garage. It's decently equipped for what it is, though. It's currently torn apart, changing things around...again...
