Has anyone heard of these pliers before? They say "Lock Line" and I think it is either Cross or Ross Manufacturing. They are a 3 piece design and seem to lock by use of a cam. They unlock by pulling the handles apart. I couldn't really find any information with a Google search.

Never seen those before. They look like gas line pliers, but I've never seen gas pliers with a wire cutter. Can you show us how the locking mechanism works?

I am not sure exactly how it works. I squeezed the handles down with an old bolt in the jaws and they locked pretty tight. Kind of reminds me of the mechanism on the Craftsman hose pinch pliers.

Maybe go here for "second hand" information:

And, adding more fuel to the fire, here is a brief description from Popular Science, September 1949, page 210 [scroll just above the yellow highlight for the complete article and the explosion picture {becomes legible @ 200%}]:

Just trying to be helpful--Stan

Thanks Stan and Woody! Just the information I was looking for. Looks like I was right about them working by use of a cam.
