I bought this jack last summer and have finally begun dismantling it for a thorough refurbish and repaint. Here are a couple of reference pics of the disassembled jack. When done it will be the perfect companion to the Walker Roll-A-Car 760 that I rebuilt a couple of years ago.

I have an unrestored version. Was buried in a wood shop of all places. It is a work of art and I think very cool. Can't wait to see your transformation.

After many hours of sandblasting and cleaning off 100 years worth of grease, dirt and paint, everything is painted and ready for reassembly.

I had an "early out" day at work so I was able to complete the jack. A little side story, as I was cleaning the lock nut and bolt for the saddle using the wire wheel, it slipped from my fingers and after a small thunk literally disappeared. I spent almost an hour and a half cleaning, sweeping and rearranging in an effort to find it. I finally found it when I picked up a rag from the rag bin and it fell out of the folds. At least now I have a clean garage in which to display the jack.

It brings the saddle up to contact the load fast. Sort of like a new hydraulic jack makes contact with a pump or two of the handle.
