Even though I'm still trying to integrate all my shop stuff ( I got retired) with my house stuff I still go out and look. Here is some newly found stuff. Nothing was more than a dollar each. (except the box)

First one is -what I believe to be a Snapon overstrike. The socket next to it has no markings except size. This was in a ice cube tray with 4 other 20's Snapon sockets. $3

Second one is a Stanley nut driver.

Third Herbrand tool box. I have a nice bunch of Herbrand stuff to go in it. $25

Fourth and fifth This is the second partial set of Eastern Machine Screw sockets I've found. The speed wrench and universal are in exceptional shape. This set and the other were both found within a few miles of New Haven.

Sixth is a Blue Points tappet wrench. This came with the Eastern Machine stuff and a bag of mixed sockets. There was also a set (pictures later) of an unusual socket rack with hex drive sockets that just had a single digit on it. $15

Yes. It's on the speeder. I went back to the house to look for more but that was it. I did end up with a cordwood saw, belt, and pto with pulley for $47. I have several N series Fords.

I went over the tread mentioned. I realized that I did not have the handle. I had it in my hand! I thought that I had it. Fortunately the sale is going on this week so I'll go back and see if left it there. So being a little bummed that I left a key piece behind I went the the basement to sort through the pile of sockets I amassed. One of the first things I ran across was this. This did not come from the original house. Just a random pile.

Yes. It's on the speeder.
I see that it's female drive, and I am guessing it's 5/8-inch hex drive, like the other H&G set tools, for turning the sockets and other attachments with their 5/8-inch MALE hex drive tangs. Please confirm. It must have been part of a bigger set (wouldn't fit in that wooden box, obviously), and I am guessing a later set, as the "H&G" on the wrench in the other set is forged, not stamped, and there are no OEM markings at all.

I'm confused! What handle are you referring to?

Nice. Looks like one of the two screwdriver bits that came in the "H&G" set. See post #1 in the Eastern thread I linked for photos of the other one that goes with it. That's a lucky uncommon find loose like that.

Very cool, and not as common as the ratchet set imo.
What are you referring to, 3bay?

OP that screwdriver in one of your pictures looks very interesting ( Black looking handle with the checkerboard pattern) by chance does it have a name somewhere on the screwdriver?

Ahhh. The one in the very front of the box in the ads and in my set. (Mine has a bend in it.) I hope you find it! Without that or the sliding T/L-handle, there is no way to turn the sockets or attach the ratchet to turn the sockets.

Please measure the female drive opening in the speeder (or put one of your loose sockets or attachments in it...) to confirm that's it's 5/8-inch hex drive.

Yes, it's 5/8. The screwdriver came from an entirely different place. Just bs luck. If I hadn't reviewed your post I most likely wouldn't have realized what I had.

The speed handle is a very important find, elidas. It's like a missing link to a set that we didn't know existed. I have tracked down some references to it, confirming my hunch that it was a larger and later (1924) set than the small, earlier (1921-1922) sets. See the update at the end of my thread.

Right? Something new to keep our eyes peeled for. Then again, maybe it was the old set with the speed handle as an extra and they were just advertising it differently. I'll have to get my kid the genius to help this old practical engineer do the math on "140 combinations". :)
