0 degree high performance box wrenches. Any one have them?

I've been looking around for a good set of box wrenches since the only thing I have are Gearwrench ratcheting box/open end wrenches. They are good, but they don't like to fit in tight spaces since the ends are a little chunkier. Is there any pros & cons of the 0 degree offset or should I get the 15 degree offsets?

both 0* and 15* have their place and applications.
neither is "better" or more useable. sometimes one will work where the other wont and vice versa.

the "HP" style wrenches with the socket like box end can be super useful in many instances.

With the offset wrenches, if you're turning a nut that's flat on a surface you can get a full grip on the wrench. I find I turn nuts on flat surfaces often. I only rarely have a problem getting the wrench in because of the offset, and in those cases I use an open end wrench.

Seems to me the 15° offset wrenches are the more general purpose tool.

I have the zero degree and use them all the time. They are well worth it

I have a couple sets of zero degree, if you work on cars for a living there will be times when you will have an easier time using that style. If its casual occasional home use I think just a set of good combo wrenches would be adequate

I have sae and metric Cornwell sets I got pretty cheap when my old dealer hung it up. There are times when they are handy for breaking stuff loose since they are so long. That said I could easily live without them.

I have both sets. I find that both have their time and place. Very useful.

Would I buy them before a set of regular combination wrenches though?

I have a Matco metric set that has ratcheting box on both ends. it's wonderful.

I've got a few kinds, the Gearbox aren't bad, for just about any offset job I like the EZred extended splines (flex head ratcheting with the "socket" portion extending out of the head about 1/4 inch).

I've got Snap On 0 degrees at work and use mine all day. There's been a few times that the 15 degree offsets would have come in handy, but a coworker has those so I just borrow his.
