My TDI turned 50,000 miles and was due for an oil change this week. Just so happens that my bike and girlfriends cars are due as well.

How do you like tdi.???....I have noticed a lot people on here have em.......there nice looking too

It's a great car and I've had zero issues with it. Waiting to see what will happen with the dieselgate recall as they might purchase it back. I wouldn't recommend getting a TDI unless you do the maintenance yourself. The oil changes and larger service intervals cost anywhere from $400-800 for the 40k mile interval. If you do them yourself you save a ton of money and then the cars are worth it.

Hopefully I'll have time tonight to build a holder for my recycling bin like this. Seems like it would work quite well.

I've been focusing on my house and enjoying the weather as of late, but was able to finish my recycling bin hanger. Turned out pretty well.

Been a while since I've posted some updates. Picked up a 2016 GTI with the 6 speed manual last week. Working to detail the car right now to make it perfect.

Picked up some new tools as well that I'm hoping to post pictures of later this week.

Finished detailing my new GTI and I'm loving it so far. Car is clean, but garage is a mess. Hoping to find some time this week to clean the garage and possibly start refinishing my bench vice.
