+1, That is what I use also.

Same thing ive always done. Use a cable cutter. Just gently pull the handles together like your going to snip the cable but just a little bit of pressure till you cut through the insulation then spin the cutter around the cable till its cut all the way around then pull the insulation off.

I still use a Razor blade, my thumbs have grown a thick callus which now defend against cuts.
