$1.00 US made Craftsman Impact Sockets @ OSH

I was at Orchard Supply tonight and found a BUNCH of craftsman normal and deep impact sockets for $1 a piece. They are discontinued and the sale goes across all stores from what they told me.

And of course there aren't any OSH stores here in Ohio. Would anyone be so kind as to hunt down some 1/2" drive metric deep sockets for me?

The only deep metric i found was a 13mm, I'm gonna try a few more stores in the area to see what else I can snag

Had some listed on the website most has been cleared out. Hopefully consumers got it and it is all not winding up on ebay from 2 people who bought all of it.

I got a bunch of sets for like $10-15 months ago that were complete. They were clearancing them hard.

Thanks for the heads up. The two of the three stores I inquired at were wiped out. The third I was able to get some SAE deep and standard size sockets. The manager said they had been on clearance for a while. Also said there will be more items going on clearance. (maybe he wanted me to return again).

One store had deep sockets but they were the "new" SKUs and were full price. The person there told me they separate the clearance items from the rest of "new" sockets.

Also, they were offering 15% the total purchase if you signed up for their "free club" membership. Just ask at the register if they are running any promos.

OP, thanks for the heads up! Now all I need is an impact gun and compressor

I just called a couple OSH's inquiring about the next big clearance and they said they don't know until it happens. If I find out when and what I'll be sure to post. I'm a member of their club, it's pretty good, no reason not to sign up, I get almost weekly 15% off coupons and a $5-25 on occasion.

Pinole OSH has a lot of these still. Some in Richmond as well. The sockets @ Richmond are not in the tool corral area, they are along the outer wall of it.

local OSH: no clearance. Singles and sets on the wall at regular price. Ah well.

Union City and Pinole have the most that I've seen. Some in Richmond. I found enough to make some semi-complete sets minus the full-price deep sockets.

Where is the Union City store? I went to Newark and they had a bunch at full price. Employees were way less than helpful and looked at me like I was crazy.

I went back and got a few extras......but could not find a std. 1/2" drive 7/16", or a 7/8". The extras that I found are std. 1", 21mm, and 22mm. Anyone interested in a trade? I also need 7/16", 1/2", 3/4", 13/16", and 7/8" in the deep sockets. I have 13mm, 16mm, and 18mm deeps as extras. All are 1/2" drive. A few still left at the store, so if we are close I can go back and check for us. If the sizes work for a trade...PM me.

I just about cleaned out the Dublin store, got over 70 sockets! I left a handful behind. When I have time to go through them I'd Seinfeld be interested in a trade. The guys there mentioned that the circle saws (aka the drill bits you would use to drill a whole in a door for the door handle) were going on super clearance soon.

The Newark store is off of highway 84 and Newark blvd, on Jarvis street. They had some old stock 3/8" and 1/4" sets left, I cleared out the 3/8" stuff. Also had a 1/2" shallow impact set that was missing sockets for $10, I found all the missing sockets on top of the tool aisle shelving.

It was my best friend's birthday last Saturday so I gave him the 1/2" shallow metric impact socket set, the two extension sets with swivels and one each of the longer impact extensions.

Livermore has a ton still. They even have some of the 3/8" impact extensions. The 3/8" impact accessory kits (they have 2) may be $5 YMMV.

They have some 7/8" deeps too

Went to OSH today and they had router bits on clearance, $1-$5 dollars on usually marked 9.99 -34.99
