1-1/16" Craftsman -V- 3/8" drive

I picked this up today for 1 dollar, a quick google search and a GJ search gave no results. It has a 15/16 hex bolster. Is it part of a set or a specialty tool?

Looks like a socket for a sending unit.... ie oil pressure sender etc.
