Like the title states I’m looking for a 1/2” drive 15/16 swivel impact socket. Shallow. Thin wall. Used to replace stump grinder teeth, the nuts on the backside of the teeth sit in a pocket and a regular impact won’t fit. Thin wall impact and chrome fit inside fine. Most of the teeth are a straight shot from the side with a regular impact gun and aren’t an issue. The teeth on the leading edge of the wheel are tricky to get to. . Thanks in advance for any help !

I know some of the lug nut socket sets include a 15/16 it’s for the bigger lug nuts but they are thin wall most of the time. If a deep socket would work I would go that route. My Harbor Freight set has it and it’s thin wall only problem you have to buy the whole set.

Edit: missed the swivel part sorry. 🙁 maybe that and a u joint if possible. Or get a 15/16 lug nut socket and cut it. Hate to think of modifying stuff but it’s a option.

How about wobble extensions? I have had 1/2 drive SO wobble extensions and looked a little online for them, but came up short. Maybe look up 1/2 drive wobble extensions.

I think you’re going to need to thin a normal universal impact down. I’d buy a few (like three) and do them to have spares because the likelihood of cracking it will probably increase. Grey Pnuematic and Sunex impacts are pretty cheap by the single socket.

You may also have to cut the sleeve off and tackweld the pin also for clearance but I think you’d be ok.

Tried a short wobble, no luck
Don't they make a shallow?
Or cut the deep?
Nope they don’t make a shallow, not that I could find

Think I’m gonna try and order a regular swivel impact and throw it in a friends lathe.

How tight are they?
MAC made a 1/2 drive female to 3/8 male impact swivel adaptor. Not sure if its still available but the Titan 42157 is similar. That would allow you to use a thinner 3/8 socket.

Or use a 3/8 drive 15/16” swivel socket?

How are you going to get a swivel impact socket to stay still in the lathe? I have never used a lathe so it may be simple, but seems problematic to me.
It’s only about 3/8” in length that needs the reduced diameter. So I was hoping to be able to grab A little of it in the chuck and just reduce turn down the end a bit. The Hopefully this pic clarifies a little.

The larger 3/8 impact universals like that have service survivability issues for some reason (they die easily) plus being that large of a fastener on somer like this 3/8 may not cut the mustard power wise

If you have access to a lathe or know some one who does turn down a standard swivel impact or do what I do with no lathe and use a grinder to make it thinne
