OK here is what I have read.Rigid, Ryobe and Craftsman impact wrenches are all made by the same manufacturer. Rigid has the best warranted but Craftsman has the best price. Now I own a perfectly good Dewalt 1/2 drive model 059. This thing is a boat anchor. It works fine but does not have a variable speed. Not to mention a light and it is just plane heavy. The Craftsman heavy duty has 300 lbs of torque, comes with a 2 amp Lithium Ion battery, that will fit my skill saw.Plus the Craftsman has variable speed.$159.at my local Sears. This is the tool charger and battery. How can I go wrong with this? Ken

Heavy duty 1/2" C3 cordless Craftsman impact is REDUCED pricing for Black Friday at $139.99

Not sure if Sears is going to allow SYW points/money reduce these prices further.

If you use it often enough that weight is a major factor, the Cman HD is listed at 5.25lbs with battery. Just a bit over half the weight of your Dewalt. If the Dewalt busts loose everything you need it to, then the Cman should be just fine as well.

I have the older single speed Ryobi 260 impact (which is, essentially, the same as the older version C3). I use it for automotive work and like you mainly on lug nuts. It does just fine (of course I have alloy lug nuts, so I break them loose with a breaker bar and do final tightening with a torque wrench).

You're, mainly, buying into a battery system with any of these tools made by TTI. If you can use the battery with other tools you have, I'd stick with CM.

Get a 4 amp battery, however, - makes a BIG difference with these things....

Get the CM and invest in the Big Battery option, you won't be disappointed .
