1/2" extension with pin lock - long & cheap?

Find myself in need of a 20 - 24"-ish 1/2" drive extension. The key feature needed is a pin lock rather than ball. Need to reach down inside a narrow area with a crowfoot like spanner and it ***** when the spanner falls off. Have tried a locking extension but the guys still somehow manage to bump the collar and drop the spanner.

This is a low torque / infrequent use item so am not looking to spend a ton. Seems impact extensions that I've found don't run that long. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Mums the word here and it might not work for you but when I get desperate, i put some of that pipe tape around the ball end and force the socket, (crowfoot spanner) into each other and it will hold long enough to get the job done. Don't ask been there done that kind of thing.
