My 2763 fuel impact broke today. The led light on the tool flashed and it doesn't spin. It's just under 2 years old so might be covered by warranty. Anyone have any suggestions before I send it in? I've tried other batteries and it does the same and all the batteries work in other tools.

If they don't take it on warranty, you can open it up to look for signs of burned components and test the trigger switch for continuity. I have seen a site in the past for replacement power tool parts, but I didn't bookmark it..

5 year warrantee. Use it. Call Milwaukee tell them your problem and they might even pay for you to ship it to them.

My 2763 locked up on me. Door to door warranty service was 8 days. Rebuilt mine and sent it back. Complete replacement of the front nosecone, bearings, and impact mechanism. They paid for shipping, but I paid $11 to package it properly. You will have to register your tools online and then do the warranty claim online as well. It's really easy though.

Before you send it in for warranty do a quick google search to see if you have a Milwaukee service center nearby. I have a Milwaukee service center about 5 miles from my house. It might save you the trouble of packing and shipping....

Time for an update. I went online to Milwaukees site and printed a mailing label. Wife dropped it off on Monday at fedex. A week later its back home with a new switch. So the 5 year warranty from Milwaukee great. I didnt even have to pay shipping.

Well that's good to hear. Different than the usual crying from people not getting their tool fixed under warranty.

Yeah, nice to hear they actually do honor the warranty and provide reasonable service.

This warranty is what makes Milwaukee the go to choice. It cost them money to have it but it makes them TONS of money because people buy their tools instead of others because of it. SMART BUSINESS.
