1/2 hp to 1 hp single motor needed

Hello, I'm looking for a single phase 120 volt electric motor for a pony start RPC. The 1/4 hp one I bought won't spin it to speed. I've looked at the local Habitat for Humanity store and a salvage/surplus yard and no luck.

If your going to have to buy stuff do you know how to make the semi-auto start with a push button and a cap? I think it cost me ~$20 for the electrical start.

I was looking for a used one, seeing it is used for about 30 seconds a day to start a RPC.

Wrap a lawnmower pull rope around the pulley and give it a pull and hit the switch.
