1/2 in Old SK Wayne Ratchet Part

Hey guys, i have an old SK Wayne 1/2 in ratchet. All the parts are good except the Snap ring or clip. It is very warn and causing it to be very loose and sloppy. Does anyone know where you can buy the snap ring? I can easily find the repair kit but I only need the clip. Anyone know where I can find them?

Call SK and tell them what you need....probably give a new kit

I e-mailed SK asking for a snap ring for an old diamond logo 1/4 ratchet just a couple days ago. They're sending me a replacement snap ring, no charge. Can't go wrong with SK.

Thanks guys, sure enough SK is taking care of me. I cant believe i called them and a person answered the phone and hooked me up. Entire process was just a few mins.

I was very pleased with SK’s service last month when they sent me a brand new 1/2” drive ratchet to replace mine with peeling chrome. I really hope they can make a go of it this time. Even if the parent company is Chinese, if they are making quality tools in America, employing Americans and continuing the high level of customer service that they seem to have been providing lately then they would be a real asset.

Excellent service from SK the couple times I needed it. I have at least 6 or 7 of their classic round heads.

I guess I need to contact SK again. I have a 3/8 drive 3 inch extension where the spring under the metal retaining ball broke, socket will not stay on the extension. Been a few years since (I think right as covid hit), I tried to contact them, last time they stated they didn't have any in stock to send me. I have plenty of 3 inch 3/8 drive extension, so no hurry on my part, but keep forgetting to try again, was waiting for them to be back up and running.
