Where have they all gone? Was looking on ACME tools and I only saw 3.
Neither Dewalt, Milwaukee or even Porter Cable had one on the market. And the ones I did find, were not cheap.
1. Bosch - $329
2. Makita - $199 (This is the one I ended up ordering)
3. Festool - $430
The 1/4 sheets sanders by all brands are plentiful and very cheap, usually $50-65 dollars. But once you step up to the half sheet the price jumps.
I think I will like the Makita (Made in Japan), usually most stuff made in Japan is pretty good quality. The Bosch also is nice, but I just couldn't justify the extra $130. And the Festool is out of my league, I don't have that kind of money to spend on a finish sander.
Very surprised to not see a Dewalt offering though, I've always been a Dewalt guy when it comes to power tools.
